HAGUE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL - EDUCATIONAL ASSOCIATE - FULL-TIME - TEMPORARY

Prairie Spirit School Division invites applications for a part-time (1.0 FTE - 30 hours per week) temporary Educational Associate at Hague Elementary School, a Pre-kindergarten to 6 school located in Hague, SK, approximately 47 km from Saskatoon. This Out-of Scope position begins September 14, 2026, and ends on October 28, 2026. The starting salary for this position is $21.85 per hour or $23.37 depending on post-secondary education.

Prairie Spirit School Division is the largest rural school division in Saskatchewan, with over 11,500 students and 45 schools located in 28 communities surrounding the city of Saskatoon, including three First Nations and nine Hutterian communities. Prairie Spirit has a

dedicated team of professional and support staff serving Prekindergarten to Grade 12 students.

Educational Associates work along with our professional staff to create a positive learning environment as part of our inspired community of learners pursuing student success.

Preference will be given to those candidates who:

• Have training in a related field (e.g. Educational Assistant or similar course).

Applicants for Educational Associate positions within Prairie Spirit must be prepared to support students in the following areas:

• Under the supervision of a teacher or other professional staff, assist students who require intensive support in the development of gross and fine motor abilities and basic life skills by demonstration, physical assistance and manipulation.
• Provide students with assistance in dressing, eating, toileting, and transportation. An Educational Associate may be asked to administer medication in accordance with Board of Education Policy 413 - Administering Medications and Medical Treatment to Students.
