H Jason Jones - Sales Supervisor

The Sales Supervisor is responsible for leading, coaching and supporting the sales team to achieve company sales objectives, market share targets and customer service standards. This role ensures effective execution of sales plans, coverage of assigned routes, development of key customer relationships and implementation of merchandising and promotional activities across all assigned channels.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead, motivate and supervise the sales team to achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Monitor individual and team performance against agreed KPIs and provide regular coaching and feedback.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, retailers and trade partners.
  • Conduct regular market visits to ensure proper product distribution, visibility, pricing and merchandising standards.
  • Assist in developing sales forecasts, route plans and customer growth strategies.
  • Monitor competitor activities, market trends, pricing and new product developments and provide recommendations.
  • Resolve customer complaints and service issues promptly and professionally.
  • Prepare and submit sales reports, routes analyses and performance updates as required.
  • Coordinate promotions, product launches, sampling activities and trade marketing initiatives.
  • Support recruitment, training and onboarding of sales personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, health and safety requirements and vehicle standards.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Sales or a related discipline, preferred.
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of sales experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team leadership role.
  • Experience within FF&C, FMCG or General Distribution is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Valid Barbados driver’s license and access to a vehicle during business hours
