Job Description

Determine invoice status by using GETPAID which is a central repository for accounting and collection information. You will provide a strategic and standard collection process while giving managers visibility of collection activities and the movement of open receivables and following up with client on weekly basis by using the same strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Setting up the terms and conditions of the receivable balances.
  • Dealing with internal queries about payments, ensuring customers pay on time and negotiating re-payment plans.
  • Running AR trade report aging on monthly bases.
  • Chase overdue invoices by telephone, email and letter within agreed timescales.
  • Maintain accurate records of all chasing activity.
  • Regularly contacting customers to ensure all relevant debts are managed as necessary.
  • Identify changes in payment patterns and propose action to avert indebtedness.
  • Ensure that all transactions are compliant with Company policies and regulations.
  • Handle disputed bills and negotiate to bring payment within the agreed terms.
  • Provide accurate advice on billing queries.
  • Respond promptly and completely to both client and internal enquiries.
  • Propose write off of irrecoverable receivables.
  • Providing cash collection reporting as and when requested by management.
  • Undertake account reconciliations as required.
  • Ensure monthly processing deadlines are met as required.
  • Send out monthly client statements/letters as may be agreed from time to time.
  • Develop the credit management capability within the practice.
  • Prepare monthly cash forecast target per month and following up on collection update by using get paid system and visiting customer to avoid delay in payment which is leading to decreasing DSO and reaching the target.
  • Ensure monthly processing deadlines are met as required.
  • Running monthly and quarter cash collection forecast based on total account receivable and revenue forecast.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or economics
  • Minimum 5 years of sales finance /AR accounting/Credit management in Multinational Enterprise.
  • Oilfield Service industry experience is preferred.
  • Fluent English skills required - both oral and written

Skills:

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to clearly present information.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage deadlines with minimal supervision, business focus.
  • Have mastery of Microsoft Excel.
  • Good skills in Office Word, and ERP knowledge (JDE experience is preferred).
  • Team-working, higher sense of responsibility.
  • Show good aptitude for learning and communication.
  • Specific and detailed.
