Job Description

We are looking for a highly competent Gynecology Oncology Specialist/Consultant to deliver expert care for patients with gynecological cancers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both clinical and surgical oncology within gynecology, providing comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs.

The role involves diagnosing and managing complex cases, coordinating multidisciplinary treatment strategies, and closely monitoring patient progress. You will also educate patients and their families, participate in research, and contribute to continuous improvement of gynecologic oncology services.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations including clinical assessments and diagnostic investigations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans involving surgery, chemotherapy, and supportive care.
• Perform surgical procedures related to gynecological cancers with precision and care.
• Administer chemotherapy and manage adverse reactions effectively.
• Provide guidance and counseling to patients and their families regarding treatment options and prognosis.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
• Engage in clinical research and professional development activities.
• Maintain detailed and accurate medical records consistent with regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
• Completed residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology and fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology.
• Board certification in Gynecologic Oncology required.
• Valid medical license to practice in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Minimum of 5 years of practical experience in gynecologic oncology.
• Proficient surgical skills with experience in oncologic procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills focused on compassionate patient care.
• Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Strong commitment to ongoing education and research in gynecologic oncology.
