Job Description

Join INTEGRIS Health, Oklahoma’s largest not-for-profit health system, as we expand our top-priority oncology service line. We're seeking a Gynecologic Oncologist to provide world-class care as part of our growing multidisciplinary sub-specialized cancer team in Oklahoma City.

In this new position you can expect to:

  • Diagnose and treat gynecologic malignancies
  • Perform complex oncologic surgeries, including minimally invasive and robotic procedures
  • Coordinate and manage chemotherapy
  • Collaborate with well-established integrated medical and radiation oncologists
  • Participate in tumor boards and multidisciplinary case conferences
  • Provide call coverage and outreach clinics as needed
  • Participate in clinical trials

Qualifications

  • MD or DO from an accredited institution
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in OB/GYN and Gynecologic Oncology
  • Fellowship-trained (ACGME-accredited program)
  • Skilled in complex gyn-onc surgery and chemo management

Physician provides direct patient care.

The Physician responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Thoroughly evaluates and manages each patient appropriately and documents information completely by use of written notes or dictation on a timely basis
  • Identifies relevant medical issues accurately and uses appropriate procedures and testing
  • Completes and maintains problem list, medication list, disease management forms, preventative maintenance flow sheets and other medical record forms
  • Participates in the quality improvement and medical management plans as directed by the Medical Operating Committee
  • Provides direction to staff members for an efficient and smooth running team
  • Ensures fiscal viability of the practice
  • Complies with policies and procedures if applicable.
  • The Physician is responsible for patients.

Moderate exposure to hazardous risks, including potential for exposure to infections and communicable diseases, blood and body fluids, electrical equipment, chemicals. Potential for bodily injury related to lifting and incidents of workplace violence. Must follow universal safety precautions. Exposed to constant interruptions, noise, disagreeable odors, and assorted chemicals.
