About the role
We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic
Gymnastics Coach to train students in artistic and basic gymnastics while
promoting physical fitness, discipline, and sportsmanship. The coach will be
responsible for planning age-appropriate training sessions, ensuring student
safety, and preparing students for inter-school and CBSE-level competitions.
What you will
be doing
Conduct structured gymnastics training sessions for students across different age groups
Teach fundamental and advanced gymnastics skills including floor exercises, balance, flexibility, and strength training
Ensure safety standards are strictly followed during practice sessions and competitions
Identify and nurture talented students for competitive gymnastics
Prepare students for inter-house, inter-school, district, state, and CBSE competitions
Maintain discipline and encourage teamwork, confidence, and sportsmanship
Assist in organizing school sports events, annual sports days, and demonstrations
Maintain gymnastics equipment and report any safety or maintenance issues
Coordinate with Physical Education teachers and school management
Keep attendance, performance records, and progress reports of students
Who we are
looking for:
Qualifications
& Requirements
Certification or diploma in
Gymnastics / Physical Education / Sports Coaching
Graduation in Physical Education
(B.P.Ed / M.P.Ed) preferred
Coaching certification from
recognized sports authority (SAI, GFI, or equivalent) is an advantage
Experience:
Minimum 2–5 years of experience
coaching gymnastics (school or academy level)
Experience in coaching students
for competitions is preferred
Skills:
Strong knowledge of gymnastics
techniques and safety practices
Ability to work with children of
different age groups
Good communication and classroom
management skills
Physically fit and energetic
Patient, disciplined, and
motivational personality
