About the Role

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Gymnastics Coach to deliver safe, high-quality programs that support children and young people to thrive.

You’ll create engaging classes, support skill development, and help foster a fun, inclusive environment for participants and families.

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver engaging gymnastics classes that support student progression
  • Create a safe, supportive and inclusive environment for all participants
  • Set up equipment and supervise sessions safely
  • Provide coaching, feedback and encouragement to students
  • Build positive relationships with families and the community
  • Respond to customer enquiries and concerns professionally
  • Maintain strong safety, risk and compliance standards

About You

You already know how to deliver safe, structured sessions independently by building strong relationships with participants. You are looking for an employer to actively promote and support your development and with it your coaching capability and career.

  • Current First Aid & CPR certificates
  • Intermediate Gymnastics Coach Accreditation (or working towards)
  • Gymnastics Australia Technical Membership
  • Working With Children Check

  • Experience working with a range of abilities and age groups
  • Advanced coaching accreditation

About The Royal Children's Hospital

The Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) has been providing outstanding care for Victoria's children and their families for over 147 years.

We are the major specialist paediatric hospital in Victoria and our care extends to children from Tasmania, southern New South Wales and other states around Australia and overseas.

With a passionate, highly skilled and committed staff campus wide of over 5,000, we provide a full range of clinical services, tertiary care and health promotion and prevention programs for children and young people.

We are the designated state-wide major trauma centre for paediatrics in Victoria and a Nationally Funded Centre for cardiac and liver transplantation.

When it comes to training and research we partner with the very best. Our campus partners, the Murdoch Childrens Research Institute (MCRI) and The University of Melbourne Department of Paediatrics, along with the RCH Foundation, are on site with the hospital in Parkville.
