Gurley Leep Automotive Family is hiring for the position of Service Manager at the Gurley Leep Ford store located in South Bend, IN.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership, guidance, and team building to service and parts departments to meet manufacturer and company standards.
• Develop and implement goals and objectives that align with the dealership strategic initiatives.
• Monitor and control the performance of the department and take proactive measures to address any areas of concern.
• Recruit, train, mentor, and coach team members within service and parts to foster a culture of excellence, professionalism, and teamwork.
• Champion a customer-centric approach by ensuring that all interactions with customers reflect the highest standards of quality, integrity, and transparency.
• Develop and maintain productive relationships with our manufacturer partners, suppliers, and vendors.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement through innovation, best practices, and operational excellence.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience or combination of education and experience.
• 3 – 5 years related experience and/or training within fixed operations.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong financial and business acumen and the ability to drive revenue and profitability.
• Always presents a high level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
• Customer focused mentality with an excellent customer service disposition.
• Professional and well-groomed personal appearance.
• Ability to set and achieve targeted goals using strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
