The new description keeps the dual focus of the previous version. On one hand, there's formal solution architecture: functional capabilities, architecture documents, Archimate, standards compliance. On the other, there's Guidewire product expertise: PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, BillingCenter, Gosu, PCF, API. It adds a more technical dimension: modern architectures (microservices, events, API-first, continuous integration), software quality (testability, observability, coupling, application security), and the ability to challenge design decisions. Mentioning Guidewire's cloud solution points the role toward a Guidewire Cloud context, without making it an explicit requirement. The role is remote and open to an English-only resource living in Canada, which broadens the pool beyond Quebec. Looking for a candidate: a solutions architect with at least 5 years of experience on the full Guidewire suite who has personally produced architecture documents on projects. They need to be able to dive into Gosu code and PCF configuration to guide a team of developers. Their resume should show both skills in the same projects, not alternating between different roles throughout their career. Requirements REQUIRED Proficient in the Guidewire suite: PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, BillingCenter Proficient in Gosu language and page configuration (PCF) Knowledge of the Guidewire suite APIsSignificant experience as a solutions architect on projects Knowledge of the Guidewire suite APIs Good knowledge of one or more architecture frameworks and ArchiMate notation Inter-application integration (API, Web Services, event-driven architecture) Concepts and methods for on-site and cloud deployment (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, CaaS) Experience with the microservices approach Priority management, matrix environment, oral and written communication, simplification of complex concepts, escalation of critical issues Intermediate-advanced English. ASSET Guidewire Certification (Associate, Specialist, or ACE), considered a 'key asset' Knowledge of Guidewire APD (Advanced Product Designer). Profiles to Exclude: Developer or Guidewire configurator profile (Gosu, PCF) without a product solutions architecture record in their name. Solutions architect profile where Guidewire only appears as a project environment, without demonstrated design or configuration on PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and BillingCenter. Guidewire experience limited to a single module (e.g., ClaimCenter only), without demonstrated exposure to the other two. Enterprise or domain architect profile without demonstrated involvement in detailed design or support of development teams. Guidewire business or functional analyst profile presented as a solutions architect.
