Guidance Counselor - Leave Replacement

Positions available at the Elementary School level

• Replacement for Guidance Counselors on a leave of absence
• Length of positions may vary

Requirements:

• New Jersey School Counselor Certificate
• Experience working with adolescents, preferred
• Successful clearance of criminal history
• All Substitutes must be BOE approved

Effective: 2026 - 2027 School Year

Salary:

• $357/day (per HTEA Step 1 2026/27 MA Teacher Guide)

Benefits: Leave replacement teachers receive benefits after 5 consecutive months of working (single health benefits)
In addition to the base salary, eligible employees receive a comprehensive benefits package: including medical/vision, prescription and dental insurance, and paid time off.
