The Springfield City School District is on the move!  With a focus on Project Based Learning, a 1:1 student technology initiative, and the development and measurement of non-cognitive factors in classroom contexts, we are addressing the new knowledge economy that requires young people who can collaborate and act independently, think critically, find and evaluate information, persevere despite obstacles, and apply knowledge and skills in new situations.  This focus allows us to move forward to improve academic achievement of all students and we appreciate your interest and partnership throughout the process.
We serve approximately 8,000 students in 15 modern school buildings.  We continue to invest in new technology and the tools necessary to be successful in the 21st century.

As a contracted employee, this position is assigned to work 183 days per year and 7.25 hours per day.

Starting salary is $43,816.00 in accordance with the negotiated agreement, increases with experience and education.

In the 2024-25 school year Springfield was able to offer a $1,600.00 longevity bonus to all employees in addition to an annual attendance bonus of potentially $1,100.00.
