Having a passion for health and fitness is important and customer service experience is a must!

Requirements

What you'll do:

• Greet and provide excellent customer service to all HCI members and guests
• Maintain extensive knowledge of all sports programs and facility operations; be able to provide this information to members, guests, and visitors
• Assist Manager with the training and onboarding of new employees
• Supervise a team and ensuring cash totals are correct at the end of each shift
• Monitor security and visitor access
• Efficiently field phone calls and inquiries about programming
• Help with general facility maintenance and upkeep of amenities
• Provide general administrative and clerical support
• Receive and sort mail and deliveries

What makes you a great fit:

• Flexible availability to work various shifts - evening and weekend availability preferred
• Minimum of one year of experience in a reception or related customer service position; six months of supervisor/management experience preferred
• High school diploma or GED
• Excellent verbal and nonverbal communication skills, including the ability to listen and respond appropriately
• Professional personal presentation
• Strong work ethic that includes punctuality, organization, and attention to detail
• Team oriented mindset
• Ability to quickly acquire and apply new knowledge and skills and the ability to maintain a friendly, enthusiastic, and positive attitude
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and some holidays, as needed
• Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
• Effective computer skills
