The successful candidate:
Schedule:
Thursday, Friday, and Sunday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM*
On-call responsibilities every Monday.
*Flexibility is important, and scheduled days and hours may change slightly based on business needs.
Job Responsibilities
The Guest Services Representative consistently demonstrates high standards of patient care when at the Guest Quarters or Hospital Concierge Desk. He or she exhibits a warm, professional, and genuine welcome to our guests with eye contact and a smile and aims to ensure all questions and/or concerns are tended to with the highest level of customer service.
Representative works closely with, but is not limited to, the Travel and Accommodations, Transportation, Security, Registration, and Financial Counselors departments.
Position Qualifications
Minimum Education:
High School diploma or equivalent required
Minimum Experience:
Minimum 3 years of experience in a fast-paced customer service environment (healthcare or hotel preferred)
Preferred Education:
Some college strongly preferred with a major in Hospitality or Hotel Services
Skills/Abilities:
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Organized with the ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with local activities and surrounding points of interest
Professional demeanor and the ability to interact with various people
Self-starter with an exemplary attendance record
Possess the ability to assist individuals who may be unable to assist themselves (wheelchair escorts, oxygen tanks, luggage, etc.)
Positive, outgoing personality
Able to work independently or as part of a team
Adaptable to an ever-changing environment
Detail oriented
Excellent problem solver
Flexibility with schedule to include varying shifts, weekends, on-call responsibilities, and rotating holidays based on business needs
Schedule subject to change based on business needs
Software:
Must be familiar with Microsoft Office and basic office equipment; basic typing/keyboard skills required.
