What you’ll be doing

As a Guest Service Attendant, you’ll:

  • Welcome guests on arrival and provide friendly, professional service
  • Manage check‑ins and check‑outs, including bookings and payments
  • Answer guest enquiries about the park, local area, facilities and activities
  • Assist with phone and email reservations and general reception duties
  • Help guests with any issues and find solutions quickly and calmly
  • Provide information about park rules, safety and amenities
  • Support day‑to‑day reception tasks, such as filing, data entry and cash handling
  • Work closely with other departments (housekeeping, maintenance, activities) to deliver a smooth guest experience

About you

You’re the kind of person who:

  • Loves interacting with people and delivering great customer service
  • Is confident using computers and picking up new systems
  • Stays calm, polite and professional – even when things get busy
  • Is organised, reliable and has good attention to detail
  • Can work a mix of weekdays, weekends, school holidays and public holidays

Ideally, you’ll also have:

  • Experience in customer service, reception, tourism, hospitality or similar
  • Cash handling and/or booking system experience (front office systems highly regarded)
  • Good local knowledge of the Forster–Tuncurry area, or willingness to learn
