Job Description

AINO Private Island Hotel is seeking an exceptional Guest Service Agent who will perform a diverse set of duties as required throughout the day.

At AINO Private Island Hotel, we offer intuitive luxury service — we move according to where the guest needs us most. AINO is a beautiful boutique hotel featuring 11 suites, 1 villa, Vuo Restaurant, and 2 saunas.

You will not be working in just one area, but instead moving with the rhythm of the day, supporting whichever department or section requires assistance. We are looking for someone who can seamlessly combine the roles of receptionist, waiter, and housekeeper. You should be confident in completing your tasks, and hosting guests should come naturally to you.

Seasonal Contract: 13 July 2026 to 31 March 2027
Hours: 7 hours 30 minutes per day
Shifts: Early, Middle, Late

Key Responsibilities

1. Reception

• Welcoming guests

• Acting as an ambassador for AINO

• Front desk reception duties

• Checking guests in and out

• Booking activities and providing concierge services

• Taking payments

• Guest orientation and introduction to rooms

• Anticipating guest needs

• Gift shop sales

• Handling luggage

2. Housekeeping

• Preparing rooms for new arrivals

• Daily housekeeping

• Daily turndown service

• Managing linen schedules, laundry suppliers, and room amenities

• Stocktaking, inventory, and placing orders

• Cleaning of saunas

3. Food & Beverage

• Preparing breakfast, lunch, and dinner setups

• Providing wait service for breakfast, lunch, and dinner

• Serving drinks (beer, wine, cocktails, coffee)

• Cleaning tables and kitchen after service

4. Driving / Valet

• Running errands in town

• Occasionally driving guests to and from the airport

5. Hosting & Activities

• Hosting and introducing sauna and ice dipping experiences

• Guiding light resort activities such as storytelling, fire rituals, and walks

Staff Housing & Transportation

Staff accommodation and cars are for rent through the company (limited availability), with costs deducted from salary.

Additional Note
Team members may also be required to perform Guest Service duties at other company establishments such as Arctic Hidden Cloud or Arctic TreeHouse Hotel.
