In this role, you will step in when full-time school nurses are absent. You will provide professional, high-quality nursing care, manage student health clinics, oversee the school health clinic aide and ensure a safe, healthy learning environment. The District School Board of Collier County, also known as Collier County Public Schools, is a school district in Collier County, Florida. The district has schools placed in four cities throughout the county: Everglades City, Immokalee, Marco Island and Naples. The district employees 2,900 teachers, 47% with advanced degrees. The School District of Collier County includes 50 schools, along with two charter schools, and including two postsecondary technical schools educating adult or dually-enrolled high school students. For the 2009-2010 school year, Collier County Public Schools received a school district grade of “A” from the Florida Department of Education – its second “A” in a row. Before that, the District had maintained a “B” grade since 2004, when district grades were first given.
