Job Description:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• 
  Signs in at Housekeeping Office on time in complete uniform, signs out for floor key and radio in the Key and Radio Control Sheet and picks up the work sheet.
• 
  Packs the Room Attendant’s cart properly with enough supplies and brings it to the designated area, keeping it always neat and clean, and never overloaded. Parks vacuum cleaner near the cart.
• 
  Cleans hallways, staircases, and pantries daily.
• 
  Starts to service rooms according to priority.
• 
  Places that cart hallway in front of the entry door of the room being serviced, at least five inches away from the wall.
• 
  Performs pick up cleaning in vacant rooms, even if these are not blocked for the day.
• 
  Cleans all assigned guest rooms according to procedures and standards set by the hotel.
• 
  Replenishes the mini-bar as per procedure.
• 
  Picks up all room service trays found in rooms and hallways, calls Room Service Attendant for pick-up.
• 
  Reports any illness, accidents befalling guests, or any irregularities to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• 
  Reports any room that has not been serviced or unfinished assignment to the P.M. Supervisor.
• 
  Keeps hallways, staircases, and pantries clean, and orderly.
• 
  At the end of the shift, clean the vacuum cleaner, the Room Attendant’s cart, spoiled linen, and trash bags-ready for use the next day.
• 
  Exhibits a positive and involved team attitude to all and promotes positive relations through an environment that encourages open communication, trust, and mutual respect.
• 
  Maintains a favorable working relationship with all other Hotel and Casino employees to promote a cooperative, and harmonious working climate.

QUALIFICATION AND REQUIREMENTS:

• 
  At least College level
• 
  1 year experience in housekeeping
• 
  Must be able to work with all chemicals.
• 
  Must be able to push and pull a 200-pound cart.
• 
  Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses as required by local gaming regulations
