
Position: Guest Lecturer – Artist Teacher of French Horn
The Conservatory of Music at Wheaton College (Illinois) invites applications for a part-time guest lecturer position in French Horn beginning in August 2026. Responsibilities include teaching applied French Horn lessons and studio classes, recruitment and offering of “trial lessons,” as well as adjudicating Horn auditions and performance juries. The position starts at $60-$65/hour.
All candidates should have evidence of successful applied teaching experience and a minimum of an earned master’s degree in music. Priority will be given to applicants with a record of strong teaching, accomplished performance, and Christian faith.
