As a Guest Experience Specialist & Hotel Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing personalized service and assistance to guests of the Rive Reine Nestlé Learning Center and the Residence. As the first point of contact, you will ensure a seamless and welcoming experience.

How you’ll make an impact on this role

As Guest Experience Specialist:

  • Warmly welcome and value guests, ensuring a home-like experience
  • Proactively engage with guests to meet their needs
  • Provide recommendations and make bookings for local attractions, activities and events; arrange group services and activities for a seamless experience
  • Address guest complaints promptly and diplomatically
  • Efficiently handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and messages related to the Residence and its guests
  • Maintain detailed records of guest preferences, requests, and feedback

As Hotel receptionist:

  • Smooth check-in and check-out processes
  • Make room & restaurant reservations, considering preferences and dietary requirements
  • Administrative correspondence by email
  • Invoicing of services & payments
  • Communication of daily information and weekly/monthly forecasts to other departments
  • Collect and check various data
  • Handling of safety-related operations, including fire alarm system and access control
  • Irregular hotel working hours (including evenings & weekends)

What will make you successful

  • Background in hospitality, with proven experience as a receptionist and/or a relevant role
  • Extensive knowledge of the local area, attractions, events, and services
  • Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills, combined with a proactive and detail-oriented approach
  • Ability to multitask, work independently, and maintain confidentiality at all times
  • High level of professionalism appearance, positive attitude, open-minded and punctual
  • Flexible, highly organized, and skilled in time management
  • Fluent in French and English (German and/or Spanish an advantage)
  • Proficient with computer applications (Microsoft Office; knowledge of Protel is an asset);
