Role Mission

Reporting directly to the Vice President of Store Planning & Facilities, the Store Planning Procurement Manager plays a pivotal role in optimizing indirect procurement and sourcing across the Americas. This position demands a highly resourceful, analytical leader capable of driving significant cost savings while upholding the highest standards of luxury retail construction. You will spearhead regional sourcing initiatives, execute best-in-class purchasing principles, and ensure seamless alignment with Global Store Planning HQ.

Key Accountabilities

Strategic Sourcing & Vendor Management

  • Direct comprehensive sourcing strategies across key spend categories with a heavy emphasis on luxury retail construction
  • Expertly manage the end-to-end vendor selection process for general contractors, architects, and specialty millworkers
  • Organize complex RFx events, execute rigorous bid leveling, and lead high-stakes negotiations
  • Collaborate closely with legal counsel to draft, refine, and execute robust Master Service Agreements (MSAs) and contracts
  • Develop and maintain a centralized construction contractor database
  • Track key performance indicators, enforce remediation efforts when necessary, and drive Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) reduction strategies
  • Partner with Global Store Planning Procurement to implement and further develop regional procurement policies, strengthening overall strategic sourcing capabilities.

Financial Optimization & Value Creation

  • Identify and capture strategic cost-saving opportunities through sophisticated spend and category analysis
  • Apply advanced quantity surveying and cost management principles to ensure rigorous budget adherence and maximum value extraction on all construction projects
  • Transform complex data into actionable insights and develop advanced analytical reports and cost-plan presentations to effectively communicate strategic recommendations to regional leadership and Global HQ
  • Cross-functionally streamline the procure-to-pay lifecycle, implementing innovative process improvements that drive efficiency and strict financial compliance

Sustainability & Innovation

  • Ensure absolute compliance with the Kering Supplier Code of Conduct across all indirect suppliers in the Americas. Seamlessly integrate Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) objectives into the standard RFx process
  • Build cross-functional alliances across Maison’s and business functions to promote procurement best practices, driving a culture of continuous improvement and ethical sourcing

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Finance, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field desired
  • 5+ years of progressive, high-impact experience in strategic sourcing or procurement
  • Proven mastery of complex RFx processes, advanced negotiation tactics, and end-to-end contract management within commercial construction or real estate development
  • Exceptional project management skills with a proven track record of thriving within a highly matrixed, cross-functional corporate environment
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel and PowerPoint for executive-level data modeling and presentation
  • Direct procurement experience within the luxury retail real estate or high-end store construction sectors preferred
  • Deep practical knowledge of quantity surveying and rigorous construction cost management
  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CPSM, CIPS, RICS)
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise e-procurement platforms (e.g., SAP Ariba, Coupa)
  • Understanding of global trade regulations and international sourcing dynamics
  • Ability to operate with a strong sense of urgency, high integrity, and absolute dependability in a fast-paced environment
  • Capable of proactively synthesizing data from diverse sources to troubleshoot complex issues and formulate actionable, data-backed strategies.
  • Possesses outstanding verbal and written communication skills, capable of influencing stakeholders, leading tough vendor negotiations, and delivering compelling presentations to senior leadership
  • Thrives in dynamic environments, effortlessly reprioritizing tasks to meet critical deadlines without compromising execution quality

Salary Range – New York

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in New York, GUCCI includes a reasonable estimate of the salary or hourly rate range for this role. This takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions; including but not limited to business or organizational needs, skill sets, experience and training, licensure, and certifications. In addition, where a candidate falls within the disclosed range estimate may be dependent on the applicable geographic differential associated with the location in which the position may be filled.

A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range is $90,000 USD to $110,00 USD.
