Role Mission

AsGucci Store Director, you will leadwith an entrepreneurial mindsetbeing responsibleforstore results,peopledevelopment and growth, client experience, development,and engagement,in addition tostore operations.

Youwillbe a cross-functional leaderleveraging onallinternal and externalopportunitiestooptimizebusiness performance,ensureseamlessstore functionality, and create anunsurpassedluxuryservice culturein the store.

You will guaranteeefficiency and effectiveness indriving and executing the company’s strategy throughmaintainingstrategic, operational,and floor leadershipof the store.

You will embody and foster excellence, hospitality, and passion through consistent role modeling of Gucci’s values and the brand’s client-centricstrategy

Key Accountabilities

ClientExperience

  • Lead the teaminexecuting superiorclient-centricservice andafter-salesexperience toachieve consistent and high client satisfaction.

  • Promote brand awareness,establishmarket/store presence, and capture competitive market share through community outreach andcompany-sponsoredevents

  • Inspire and fostercollaborationin the storeto achieve coherent and strongclienteling-relatedactivities and training.

  • Ensure the development, implementation, and execution of company CRM initiatives byguiding and challenging the team todevise and implement effective action plansand personalized future client development opportunities.

  • Partner closely with the Client Engagement team to lead andleveragebusiness development opportunities, byutilizinga top-client strategy toretainand develophigh-potentialclients, with a special focus on the Top 100.

  • Championfullutilizationof the variousclientelingtools to drive client loyalty and acquisition.

  • Oversee and guideyour teamtomanage the client flow on the selling floor to ensureall clientsare addressed and exceptional service is delivered.

  • Coach andassistyour teamto manage and resolve client service issues with the end goal ofretainingand enriching the client relationship.

  • Lead and oversee company-driven local events and product launches, ensuring client attendance and sales results are met.

  • Maintain and inspire a deep knowledge of competition and prospects in the store’s area and stay well connected to local trends and evolution.

Leading People

  • Act as a role model for people by embodying a passionate attitude anddemonstratingthe highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and servant leadership with people and clients

  • Assistand guide your teamin managing the performance and the development of theirteamsensuring high engagement of top performers and effective improvement of bottom performers.

  • Lead and guide engaging and effective Store Briefingsto cascade key businessobjectivesandexecution action plans, keeping at heart equal focus on business and people.

  • Manage and oversee effectiveandtimelyresolution of employee-relations matters in partnership withyour line manager andthe People Partners

  • Attract, recruit, andretaina high-performing team and build a talent pipeline through networking and competitiveheadhunting

  • Overseea consistent andtimelyGucci onboarding experience for all new hires.

SalesPerformance

  • Partnercross-functionallyto drive and maximize sales performance to consistently achieve the overall sales target and KPIs, while ensuring operational integrity and optimization of monthly profitability.

  • Devise and drive collaborative and innovative initiativestopropel Gucci to capitalize on the first-mover advantage andseize market opportunities

  • Demonstrate sales leadership by playing an active role on the sales floor throughcoordinatingFoHandBoHactivities, engagingwith top clients,andensuring the highest level ofclientservice and hospitality.

  • Oversee and ensure the management ofstock levels to maximize full-price selling (for Full-price stores) andmaintaina high sell-through, as well as alignment with new product launches.

  • Ensure the rollout of training priorities byall managers and the training team, sothat all people arefully educated on brand pillars and season strategy

  • Consistently drive the company’s set KPIs byguiding and challengingeveryoneto createand implementstrategies,when performance standards are not met.

  • Guide and ensure the effectiveallocation of staff resources and schedule to drivesales andmaintaina high standard ofclientservice.

  • Keep up to date with competitors’ analysis; products,sales trends,people strategies,clientelingactivities, andlaunches.

Running the House

  • Adhere to and oversee the adherence to company policies and procedures including Operations, People, and Security.

  • Manage and support stock levels through direct communication with key business departments to maximize full-price selling andmaintaina highsell-through, as well as alignment with new product launches.

  • Comply withall Loss Prevention self-audits, monthly cycle counts, incident reporting, and inventory reconciliations to ensure annual inventory shrinkage is below company target.

  • Provideaccuratemonthly schedulesandtimelysubmission of payroll records for all employees

  • Oversee incoming and outbound merchandise requests and shipments.

  • Support andmonitorthe After Sales services in store.

  • Oversee and supportmaintainingtheVisual Merchandising standards set by the Global VM team.

  • Ensureoptimaland consistent adherence to all key health, safety, and security aspects.

  • Maintaincompany assets organized in respect of the back-of-house and front-of-house guidelines.

  • Represent the Gucci image throughappropriate wardrobeand presence per thecompanygrooming standardsand, at the same time, ensuring team’s adherence to these standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years of sales management experience in retail, luxury retail, or service-relatedindustry.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field ispreferred.

  • High degree of ethics, professionalism, integrity, and ability to inspire trust and influence a team

  • Ability to analyze selling reports,identifybusiness trends, and react quickly to the needs of thebusiness.

  • Proven ability to drive positiveclientexperiences that build loyalty and deliver measurableresults.

  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Proficiencywith Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint,andOutlook

  • Industry awareness, commercial knowledge,and strong businessand financialacumen

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and excellent organizationalskills.

  • Passion for the FashionIndustry.

  • Flexibility toworka retail schedule which will include evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Salary Range – California

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in California,GUCCI includes a reasonable estimate of the salary or hourly rate range for this role. Thistakes into accountthe wide range of factors that are considered in making compensationdecisions;including but not limited to business or organizational needs, skill sets, experience and training, licensure, and certifications. In addition, where a candidate falls within the disclosedrangeestimate may be dependent on the applicable geographic differential associated with the location in which the position may be filled

A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range is $126,000USD to $140,000USD.

Eligible employees may alsoparticipatein an employee benefits program as well as an incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends onvarious factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
