Role Mission

The Sales Manager for the Watches and Jewelry division owns all wholesale accounts across Mexico, South America, and the Caribbean, delivering exceptional service that meets and exceeds sales goals. Through marketing, training, merchandising, inventory optimization, and in-store support, the Sales Manager strengthens the brand's image and expands its presence throughout the region. The role relies on strong sales and business analytics to evaluate performance, surface replenishment opportunities, track market trends, and optimize stock levels.

Key Accountabilities

  • Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals across the region.
  • Manage all sell-in and order intake and replenish accounts to maximize sales.
  • Drive sell-out in accounts and provide in-store sales support.
  • Build active client relationships around product, brand positioning, marketing, and growth opportunities, with attentive service and follow-up for every retailer.
  • Merchandise each point of sale in line with corporate guidelines.
  • Visit all doors and conduct quarterly business reviews focused on sales and inventory productivity.
  • Develop new clients and doors that align with the brand's image and growth plans.
  • Analyze sales performance, sell-through, inventory productivity, and replenishment opportunities, and provide data-driven recommendations on product assortment and stock allocation.
  • Develop and maintain regional sales forecasts and inventory projections, and monitor inventory aging, stock imbalances, and slow-moving merchandise.
  • Plan and lead regular in-person and virtual product training.
  • Plan and activate co-op and organic marketing activities and events in partnership with Marketing
  • Partner with Customer Service, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Planning, and SAV to manage inventory flow, allocations, and overall business growth and maintenance.
  • Support annual budget planning, forecasting, and regional strategy development.
  • Support regional and international selling campaigns and events.

Key Requirements

  • BA or BS bachelor’s degree desired.
  • 7–10 years of wholesale sales experience, ideally in luxury watches & jewelry.
  • Proven record of meeting and exceeding sales goals.
  • Native or business-fluent English and Spanish (written and verbal), with the ability to conduct negotiations, presentations, training, and correspondence in both languages.
  • Advanced sales, inventory, forecasting, and business-analysis skills, including advanced Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, forecasting, and reporting).
  • Hands-on experience with inventory planning, replenishment, stock allocation, open-to-buy discussions, and sales forecasting.
  • Experience managing distributors, independent retailers, and department store partners across Latin America and the Caribbean preferred.
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen, with the ability to build business plans, and growth strategies and to present performance to senior leadership and external partners.
  • Strong understanding of luxury retail, wholesale distribution, merchandising, and client development.
  • Willingness to travel frequently throughout Mexico, South America, and the Caribbean.
  • Valid driver's license.

Salary Range – New York

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in New York, GUCCI includes a reasonable estimate of the salary or hourly rate range for this role. This takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions; including but not limited to business or organizational needs, skill sets, experience and training, licensure, and certifications. In addition, where a candidate falls within the disclosed range estimate may be dependent on the applicable geographic differential associated with the location in which the position may be filled.

A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range is $81,000 to $90,000 USD.
