Role Mission

As a Gucci Operations Controller, you willbe responsible forproviding operational support to the business by overseeing an efficient stockroom andaccurateinventoryYou will support management in day-to-day operations including troubleshooting operational, service, facilities, and compliance issues.

Key Accountabilities

Operations

  • Execute shipping and receiving process, reporting any issues to Store Director or Operations Manager and taking the necessary steps toresolve;

  • Ensuretimelymovement of merchandise as directed by Store Director or Operations Manager while adhering to all procedures and guidelines, including but not limited to transfers, RTV’s anddamages;

  • Assist Store Director or Operations Managerwithidentifying problems in operations process and resolve them in quickly andtimelymanner;

  • Maintain clear andaccurateoperations documents/procedures for referencepurposes;

  • Submit allrequired tax-exempt formsandasreceived;

  • Communicate all discrepancies/issuesimmediatelytomanagement;

  • Process repairs and damages ona timelybasis according to companyguidelines;

  • Assistwith physical maintenance of theboutique;

  • Place orders as needed for all supplies for the office andstore;

  • Ensure compliance with company standards, procedures, and security guidelines.

Inventory

  • Executeand ensurean accurateand organized store inventory at alltimes;

  • Performstore cycle counts, scheduled inventories, and reconciliation with support and direction from the Store Director or Operations Manager.

Requirements

  • Previous2-3+ years ofexperience in a similar role, preferably within the fashion retail industry or luxury sector.

  • High degreeofethics, professionalism, integrity, and ability to inspire trust andteamwork

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage inventory efficiently.

  • Attention to detailsand accuracy in stock management processes.

  • Knowledge of stock control proceduresandinventory management software, including receiving, tracking, and storing merchandise.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Good communicationskills to collaborate with store management, sales teams, and other staff members.

  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by the retail industry

  • Ability to meet physical requirements of the position including but not limited to climbing ladders, bending, lifting boxes.
