Following the guidelines and input of the Senior Designers, the Men Shoes Junior Designer will support the development of Men’s footwear collections, contributing to the creative process and ensuring alignment with the brand’s aesthetic, quality standards, and seasonal direction.

Key Accountabilities

Research

  • Research fashion trends, materials, and innovations within the footwear category
  • Monitor the luxury market to identify new opportunities
  • Support the development of mood boards and creative concepts, drawing from archives, suppliers, vintage markets, exhibitions, and digital sources

Design & Creativity

  • Assist in the design and development of Men’s shoes
  • Produce sketches, renderings, and technical drawings under the guidance of Senior Designers
  • Contribute with new ideas and creative proposals aligned with the brand identity
  • Update and adapt existing designs (materials, colors, proportions) following feedback

Collection Development

  • Collaborate with Product Development to ensure design feasibility
  • Participate in fittings and prototype reviews, ensuring consistency with initial concepts
  • Follow up on sample corrections and adjustments

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Merchandising, Product Development, and other design categories to ensure coherence of the collection
  • Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders to support the development process
  • Contribute to internal presentations and collection boards

Operational Support

  • Prepare design materials, boards, and presentations for collection reviews
  • Maintain organized archives of drawings, references, and developments
  • Support the team in preparation for fashion shows and key milestones

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in footwear or accessories design
  • Degree in Fashion Design, Footwear Design, or related field
  • Good knowledge of footwear construction and materials is a plus
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) and design tools
  • Good sketching and illustration skills
  • Creative mindset with strong attention to detail
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Proactive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities
  • Fluency in English (Italian is a plus)
  • Gross Annual Salary 30.000€ (unless otherwise agreed, in the event of a positive outcome of the selection process, specific levels of experience and autonomy and/or particular competencies emerge during the selection process, based on objective criteria).
  • NCBA (National Collective Bargaining Agreement) National Contract per gli Addetti alle Industrie Manifatturiere delle Pelli e Succedanei e Ombrelli e Ombrelloni (unique alphanumeric code: D111)
  • Bonuses and Commissions Annual Target Bonus as per the company-level collective agreement in force, up to 20% of the Gross Annual Salary.
