The overall function of this position is to serve as a night guard at DOTD District 07 in Lake Charles.
Join the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) as a night Guard, where you'll play a key role in receiving and responding to incoming calls from the public, police, and bridge tenders after regular hours to ensure critical public safety.
** Criminal Background Check will be required **
No experience or training is required.
NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
An applicant who has been convicted of a felony or who is under indictment on a felony charge will be disqualified until relief from the disabilities imposed by state and federal laws is granted.
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
Applicants may be required to possess a current Louisiana driver's license.

Depending on level and assignment, Guard may:
Compensation: Guard – $ 26,707.00 Annual
Appointment Type: This position may be filled as either a probational appointment (open to all qualified applicants); or by detail to special duty.
Work Schedule: Work hours are based on a 7 days on and 7 days off
