This role will work to ensure the development of Brown-Forman brands in the travel retail airport channel & Border business, across South America. Reporting into the Senior Commercial Manager Global Accounts, this position will be responsible for the day-to-day management of all travel retail customers and activities in the covered territory. Key tasks will include managing a team of promoters, securing profitable listings, building broad and deep customer relationships, maintaining merchandising guidelines and coordinating promotional activities.
Meaningful Work from Day One
As Account Coordinator, the role will assume operational responsibility for the accounts assigned in the region, ensuring alignment of activities and support across the region. This role is responsible for the day-to-day execution of all travel retail activities in the region. The role will collaborate with GTR and local management teams to evaluate market conditions, implement sales and promotional plans, and recommend changes. A primary responsibility is to develop and maintain a unified, highly effective team of Brand Ambassadors through recruitment, coaching, training, and mentorship. The objective is to establish a visible, impactful presence of skilled, knowledgeable representatives across all strategic locations, ensuring consistent brand messaging and exceptional consumer engagement.
What You Can Expect
The role requires focus on GTR Global Account customers. Primarily, the role will require you to:
Identify profitable growth opportunities for the Brown-Forman spirits portfolio
Work with GTR and brand teams to execute agreed brand plans and budgets to achieve regional goals in the assigned territory
Build dynamic and meaningful relationships with key stakeholders in the assigned accounts to interpret customer strategy, gain alignment, and achieve best-in-class partnership
Support annual pricing and listing negotiations with all customers.
Identify and support brand-building opportunities through merchandising and promotional activities, additional store activities, training, incentivizing, rewarding, and influencing
Supervise the execution of these programs, evaluate and modify as appropriate
Support brand and portfolio strategies
Collaborate and align with domestic B-F personnel to maximize cooperation between B-F GTR and the Local Economy
Visit duty-free outlets in the region to gather insights from the shop floor and ensure the pre-defined presence of B-F brands.
Build relationships with customer commercial and retail contacts to identify profitable growth opportunities and negotiate & influence the enhancement of our presence in duty-free stores, bars & restaurants.
Partner with the Customer Marketing team to support the flawless execution of our brand-building activities & work with customers to evaluate these activities to make future recommendations.
Recruit, lead, train, motivate & evaluate our Brand Consultants in the region.
Partner with Customer Service / Supply Chain teams/suppliers to ensure timely availability of stock & materials for promotions & activations.
Input into the monthly & quarterly performance review for Avolta & Lagardere.
What You Bring to the Table
Minimum 3 years of experience in field sales or FMCG selling, building strong relationships, and recruiting & leading sales consultants in a similar role.
Able to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating the capacity for autonomous work within a matrix structure..
Demonstrated ability to build strong, effective working relationships with external & internal stakeholders.
Ability to communicate in written & spoken English, it would be beneficial if Portuguese or Spain was spoken.
Strong computer skills with proficiency, or the ability to quickly build proficiency, on Google Workspace

Experience working in the Travel Retail channel.
A deep understanding of the region, gained from either directly working in the region or through working on projects in the region.
In addition to the mandatory requirement of English. Other language skills are a plus.
