About the Role
Join BytePlus as one of our first sales hires in Australia and help build our ANZ presence from the ground up. As an individual contributor, you'll hunt new business across enterprise and fast-growing SME accounts, bringing ByteDance's cutting-edge AI, video, and cloud technologies to Australian companies transforming their digital capabilities. Responsibilities
- Generate and close new business across enterprise and digital-native SME accounts in ecommerce, retail, and media sectors, executing full-cycle sales from prospecting through contract closure
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline through outbound prospecting, networking, referrals, and marketing partnership to hit quarterly and annual targets
- Understand customer pain points and position BytePlus's AI/ML, recommendation, streaming, and infrastructure solutions as strategic enablers through compelling demonstrations and business case presentations
- Navigate multiple decision-makers to drive deals forward with urgency, developing fluency in cloud-based solutions and intelligent technologies for credible customer conversations
- Build working knowledge of ANZ ecommerce, retail, and media landscapes—including competitive dynamics, customer challenges, and buying behaviors
- Partner with marketing on events, webinars, and conferences to build market awareness and generate leads
- Work collaboratively as a founding team member with entrepreneurial energy, ready to tackle challenges beyond core sales responsibilities and contribute to refining our ANZ GTM approach
