Als Vertriebsmitarbeiter im Segment Geotechnik in Österreich ( Ground Support Sales Representative – GSSR – GeoTech Austria) verantwortest Du die Vertriebs- und Geschäftsentwicklung unserer Produkte und Systeme im Segment Geotechnik in Österreich sowie in ausgewählten Märkten der Zentralregion. Dabei leistest Du einen wesentlichen Beitrag zur nachhaltigen Steigerung von Umsatz, Profitabilität und Marktanteilen durch wertorientierten Vertrieb, technische Beratung auf höchstem Niveau sowie Aufbau und Pflege langfristiger Kunden- und Stakeholderbeziehungen.

Deine Aufgaben

  • Verantwortung für Umsatz-, Ertrags- und Budgetziele im definierten Vertriebsgebiet.
  • Ausbau und Pflege langfristiger Kundenbeziehungen und Akquisition von Neukunden.
  • Identifikation und Entwicklung neuer Marktpotenziale, Anwendungen und Geschäftsmöglichkeiten im Bereich Geotechnik.
  • Technische Beratung von Kunden, Planern, Bauherren und Projektpartnern über den gesamten Projektlebenszyklus hinweg.
  • Erstellung, Kalkulation und Verfolgung von Angeboten sowie Führung von Preis- und Vertragsverhandlungen.
  • Durchführung regelmäßiger Kunden-, Baustellen- und Projektbesuche zur Sicherstellung einer hohen Kundenzufriedenheit.
  • Einführung und Vermarktung neuer Produkte, Systeme und technischer Lösungen.
  • Aufbau und Pflege eines starken Netzwerks zu Kunden, Planungsbüros, Bauherren, Universitäten, Forschungseinrichtungen und Branchenverbänden.
  • Analyse von Markttrends, Wettbewerbsentwicklungen und Verkaufskennzahlen zur Ableitung von Wachstumsstrategien.
  • Erstellung von Forecasts, Vertriebsberichten sowie Unterstützung der Unternehmensplanung durch transparente Markt- und Kundeninformationen.

Dein Profil

Fachliche Qualifikationen

  • Abgeschlossene technische Ausbildung im Bereich Bauingenieurwesen, Geotechnik oder einer vergleichbaren Fachrichtung (HTL bzw. Werkmeisterschule)
  • Alternativ abgeschlossenes technisches Studium
  • Idealerweise 10 Jahre Berufserfahrung im Bereich Spezialtiefbau (Geotechnik)
  • Auslandserfahrung (Infrastruktur- oder Bauprojekte) ist von Vorteil
  • Technisches Verständnis für geotechnische Anwendungen und Baustellenprozesse
  • Gute Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
  • Sicherer Umgang mit MS Office
  • Führerschein Klasse B

Shape the Future of Geotechnical Solutions

Are you passionate about geotechnical engineering and ready to combine your technical expertise with commercial success? We are looking for an experienced and motivated professional to drive the growth of our GeoTech business in Austria and selected Central European markets.

As Ground Support Sales Representative (GSSR) – GeoTech Austria, you will be responsible for promoting, selling and technically supporting our geotechnical products and solutions. You will work closely with customers, engineering companies, designers, project owners, universities and industry associations to develop sustainable business opportunities and strengthen Sandvik's market position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales growth and business development for GeoTech products and systems within the assigned territory.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors and key industry stakeholders.
  • Provide technical advice and support throughout the entire project lifecycle.
  • Identify new customers, market segments and application opportunities for existing and future solutions.
  • Develop and execute technical marketing initiatives, product presentations and customer demonstrations.
  • Support customers, engineering consultants and project owners with value-based technical solutions.
  • Prepare and negotiate quotations, contracts and commercial agreements.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities and growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing technical and commercial expertise to achieve business objectives.
  • Support sales teams through technical training, guidance and product knowledge sharing.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, reports and market intelligence to support strategic decision-making.

Your Profile

  • Technical education in Civil Engineering, Geotechnics, Structural Engineering or a related field.
  • Several years of experience in geotechnics, special foundation engineering, civil construction or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong understanding of geotechnical applications, support systems and construction site processes.
  • Proven ability to build customer relationships and identify business opportunities.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Business oriented mindset with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
  • Fluent German and good English language skills.
  • Willingness to travel within Austria and the Central European region.
  • Valid driving licence (Category B).
