Job Description

Amazon's Global Shared Services (GSS) Operations is built on a foundation of operational excellence, and the Sr. Ops Resourcing Manager is central to sustaining and scaling that foundation. In this role, you will own the short-term resource and capacity planning mechanisms that power WW GSS Operations across our offices in India, Costa Rica, and the US — ensuring the right people, in the right place, at the right time. You will also serve as a key strategic partner on long-term workforce planning, providing critical operational insight to inform future capacity decisions.

You will lead a team while also rolling up your sleeves to drive planning and execution. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, with a proven track record of managing complex resourcing programs in parallel, leading through ambiguity, and delivering simple solutions to complex problems. You will communicate and collaborate effectively across PV Global Marketing Operations, domestic and international Prime Video and Studios partners, and external vendors.

Key job responsibilities
• Own short-term resourcing and capacity planning across all GSS Operations, managing capacity horizons to ensure supply meets demand.
• Build and maintain capacity planning models to forecast headcount needs, identify gaps, and drive proactive mitigation — leveraging automation and AI to improve accuracy and reduce manual effort.
• Develop resourcing strategies that align workforce supply with operational demand, including flexible models (FTCs, contingent workers, 3P agency partnerships), accounting for capacity shifts driven by automation and AI adoption.
• Partner with Operational Planning & Analytics on long-term workforce planning cycles, contributing short-term operational data and insights to inform strategic decisions.
• Serve as the centralized POC for all GREF-related requirements across GSS sites (IN/CR).
• Lead infrastructure planning to sustain operational capacity (IT, equipment, space), including readiness for automation and AI tooling deployments.
• Integrate new growth opportunities into day-to-day production operations, ensuring seamless transitions and assessing resourcing implications of automation-driven workload shifts.
• Own the end-to-end vendor lifecycle — onboarding, performance management, offboarding, PO/work order management — and partner with Amazon stakeholders on contract negotiations and renewals.
• Recruit, develop, and lead a diverse, globally distributed team, fostering a culture of trust and accountability.
• Build team capability in data-driven resourcing practices, including automation and AI tools used in capacity planning workflows.
