GSOC Shift Supervisor (Data Center Security)

Location: Irving, TX

Schedule: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM, Sunday - Thursday

Pay Rate: $24.00/hour

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and motivated GSOC Shift Supervisor to oversee overnight operations within a fast-paced Data Center Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) in Irving, TX. This position is responsible for supervising GSOC personnel, monitoring security systems, managing incident response activities, and ensuring adherence to established security protocols. The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and prior experience in a Security Operations Center, command center, alarm monitoring, or incident response environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support GSOC operators during assigned overnight shifts.
  • Monitor security systems, access control platforms, CCTV systems, and alarm monitoring applications.
  • Coordinate responses to security incidents, emergencies, and operational disruptions.
  • Ensure all incidents, alarms, and activities are accurately documented and escalated according to established procedures.
  • Conduct shift briefings and maintain continuity between shifts.
  • Review and verify reports for accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for escalations during assigned hours.
  • Support data center security operations and maintain compliance with site and client security requirements.
  • Assist with investigations and incident analysis as needed.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop GSOC personnel to ensure operational excellence and adherence to standards.
  • Monitor team performance and provide real-time guidance during critical events.
  • Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach while interacting with internal and external stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Prior experience in a:
  • Security Operations Center (SOC)
  • Global Security Operations Center (GSOC)
  • Command Center
  • Alarm Monitoring Center
  • Incident Response Environment
  • Prior supervisory or leadership experience required.
  • Experience monitoring CCTV, access control, or alarm management systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and report writing.
  • Ability to make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting data center, critical infrastructure, or corporate security operations.
  • Knowledge of incident management and escalation procedures.
  • Experience with access control, video management, and alarm monitoring platforms.
  • Security certifications or related training are a plus.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit and work at a workstation for extended periods.
  • Ability to view multiple monitors simultaneously.
  • Ability to occasionally walk the site as operational needs require.
