Salary Range ₱60,000 - ₱80,000

The role

This individual oversees the complete lifecycle of Passenger Information Systems (PIS) and Public Address infrastructure, ranging from initial engineering and design to final implementation and acceptance. Their role involves the installation, configuration, and continuous optimization of both hardware and software. Additionally, they are responsible for ensuring system reliability through proactive diagnostics, technical investigations, and the resolution of complex infrastructure issues.

Your Responsibilities:

• Spearheaded the end-to-end design, construction, testing, and formal acceptance of GSM-R systems, ensuring strict adherence to all technical design criteria and industry standards.
• Managed the seamless implementation, deployment, and commissioning of critical communication infrastructure, overseeing the transition from initial setup to final operation.
• Directed cross-functional deployment and testing teams to ensure project milestones were met with precision and technical excellence.
• Acted as the primary technical point of contact, facilitating clear communication and alignment between international headquarters, third-party vendors, partners, and the end client.
• Conducted hardware installation and configuration, including Power ON Self-Tests (POST), while maintaining operating systems and application software for peak performance.
• Proactively monitored application performance to identify bottlenecks and collaborated with development teams to implement robust, scalable solutions.
• Provided comprehensive root-cause analysis for complex technical incidents, resolving network configurations and system issues to minimize downtime.
• Committed to delivering a superior level of service to both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring all technical requirements and support needs were addressed promptly.
• Authored detailed technical manuals, knowledge-base notes, and accurate project reports to preserve institutional knowledge and ensure transparency.
• Assisted Sales and Product Management teams by facilitating high-impact customer demonstrations and Proof-of-Concept (POC) engagements.
• Executed additional administrative and technical duties as required to support the evolving needs of the project and the organization.

What we're looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communications Engineering and/or other equivalent related courses.
• 3-5 years of technical experience GSM-R or GSM Core deployment including Base Stations.
• Good knowledge of system level monitoring, performance tuning
• Proficient in Windows and Linux Operating systems and productivity tools.
• Extensive knowledge and experience in Design Engineering, Installation, Deployment and Commissioning & Testing of GSM systems (i.e. MSC, BSC, SGSN, GGSN, Core), preferably NOKIA
• Knowledgeable in MSS, MGW, BSC and IP core
• Able to configure, test, commission and perform acceptance testing of GSM core and base stations
• Good knowledge in GSM protocols
• Preferably with knowledge in GSM-R (Global System for Mobile Communications – Railway)
• Good communication skills, technical writing
• Good Leadership skills
