Job Purpose

The job incumbent is overall responsible for the operational activities of GS Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, the observance of the methods and techniques, the quality of the work & the assigned duties, the commercial contacts & development and the economic & financial performance. He performs the job within the framework of the BV Quality Assurance System, the Code of Ethics and the BV Group policies.

Minimum Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelor Degree with 5 years of job related experience (experience as a manager) or Technical education Certificate/degree level in Engineering or standards background with experience as a manager.

Experience - 15 years

Languages - Must be fluent in English & Arabic

Responsibilities

As GS Director, his/her responsibilities are to:

• Drive Profit & Loss and cash accountability for GS business line in KSA and Bahrain.

• Define and set up an optimized organization, managing & developing people, in line with yearly budget & plan for GS.
• Define & drive initiatives to ensure operational excellence, quality outcomes and client satisfaction.
• Identify market opportunities for GS & implement growth initiatives through active customer engagement
• Monitor closely operational, commercial and financial performance, through monthly reviews (markets, competitors, clients, finance ...) and initiate corrective actions if needed.
• Ensure compliance with international and local statutory, industrial and legal requirements and Group guidelines, including Ethics, Technical, Quality and Risk management.
