Are you detail-oriented, analytical, and passionate about finance? Join Kuehne+Nagel’s Knowledge Center as a Cash Allocation Specialist, where you will play a key role in ensuring payments are accurately and timely allocated to customer accounts. You’ll work closely with Accounts Receivable, Collections, Bank Reconciliation, Tax, and Controlling teams to keep financial processes running smoothly and support accurate cash management.

How you create impact

• Manage daily cash allocation activities: Review ageing reports and reconcile incoming payments to ensure accurate and timely application to customer accounts.
• Investigate unidentified payments: Coordinate with Bank Reconciliation and internal teams to identify and correctly allocate unidentified transfers.
• Analyze and validate payments: Compare bank movements against outstanding customer balances to determine and verify the correct amounts to be applied.
• Coordinate payment documentation: Prepare payment templates and ensure all required supporting documents are complete and submitted to the SSC through the appropriate channels.
• Follow up and resolve pending items: Monitor requirements and coordinate with SSC, Bank Reconciliation, Tax, and Controlling to ensure payments are successfully applied and issues are resolved on time.

What we would like you to bring

• Professional degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in Accounts Receivable, Credit Risk, Cash Allocation, or related processes, preferably within a Knowledge Center or Shared Service Center.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent organization, follow-up, communication, and time-management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Intermediate English and Portuguese
