Piper is an AI-native platform for B2B sales teams: it records every sales conversation, updates the CRM on its own, drafts follow-ups and tells managers where to coach. We have product-market fit, Tier 1 customers at ~€73k ACV, and per-license pricing built for land & expand.

And we're a startup inside Aircall. That gives you startup speed and ownership, plus the brand, customer base and backing of one of Europe's leading SaaS companies. You get upside without having to worry about the next funding round.

Now we need our founding Sales Lead: the first senior commercial hire, and the person who writes the first chapter of how Piper wins.

Why this role is different

• You sell AI to people like you. Our buyers are sales leaders. You know their pain, because you've lived it.
• You're a protagonist, not a passenger. No playbook to follow. You write it, together with the leadership.
• Your numbers are visible. Every deal you close moves the company, and everyone will see it.

What you'll do

Sell: 80% of your time

• Open doors to C-level, VPs and sales directors in our ICP, starting with your own network.
• Own the full cycle on strategic accounts: discovery, demo, negotiation, close.
• Build your own pipeline through targeted outbound, referrals, partnerships and the Aircall ecosystem.
• Be the face of Piper with customers, partners and on stage at events.

Lead and coach

• Manage our AE: weekly 1:1s, pipeline and forecast reviews.
• Join their calls and negotiations and give sharp, concrete feedback.
• Help them unblock deals and convert better at every stage.

Build, side by side with the Leadership

• Shape the sales playbook: ICP, messaging, discovery, objections, pricing, negotiation.
• Set the bar on CRM discipline, metrics and forecasting.
• Be the voice of the market in product and strategy decisions.
• Help design and hire the sales team as we scale.

You're our person if…

• You have 10+ years in B2B sales, including 2+ years coaching others or leading as a senior AE.
• You've closed €50k+ ACV deals in consultative, multi-stakeholder cycles, and you can walk us through them.
• You have a strong network among decision-makers in France and Europe, and you can turn it into meetings.
• You've done it in a startup or scale-up, where the product evolves and the process gets built while you sell.
• You're hands-on: you open accounts, write proposals and keep your CRM clean without being asked.
• You're hungry. You want the number, the ownership and the title that comes with earning it.
• You speak fluent French and English (Spanish is a big plus, German is also nice).

Bonus points

• You've helped a startup scale its revenue from early traction to the next stage.
• You've sold per-seat software with land & expand motions.
• You've sold AI or automation software.
• You know MEDDICC, Challenger or similar, and use it without being dogmatic.

This is probably not for you if…

• You want to manage a team without carrying a bag.
• You need a finished playbook, inbound on tap and a big SDR team behind you.
• You prefer predictable over ambitious.

• OTE €150,000–200,000 gross/year (base from €100,000 + variable), depending on experience and network.
• Uncapped variable on personal and team new ARR, with accelerators above quota.
