Job Description
Growth Product Manager, WXP
-
Growth Product Manager, Workforce Experience Platform
The Growth Product Manager for WXP owns the product workstream that drives growth of HP’s Workforce Experience Platform across activation, expansion, and new routes to market. This role focuses on improving how customers adopt and expand WXP, instrumenting the growth funnel, and scaling WXP through HP’s channel partners, the HP Managed Services organization, and new distribution motions. The role reports into WXP Product leadership and partners closely with HP’s Channel, Managed Services, Sales, and Partner Marketing teams.
Responsibilities
- Drive WXP activation and time-to-value. Own the onboarding and first-run experience so admins and end-users reach key value moments quickly. Identify and eliminate friction in the activation funnel and improve conversion from trial and early adoption to sustained usage.
- Instrument and improve the WXP growth funnel. Define the metrics that matter — activation, engagement, expansion, retention — and run continuous experimentation (A/B tests on flows, prompts, packaging, pricing) to improve conversion at each stage. Feed scored signals into Sales and partner systems so the field knows which accounts are warm and why.
- Partner with UX and Engineering to build the in-product growth experience. Define and ship the entitlement-aware UI that powers the WXP flywheel — what an active Care Pack customer sees versus a non-entitled customer, what is active versus grayed out, where upsell and cross-sell prompts surface, and how state transitions (trial, active, expired, upgrade-available) are represented. Work closely with UX research and design and with engineering to translate growth hypotheses into shippable experiences and to maintain a consistent, contextual, non-intrusive in-product experience as the offer surface expands.
- Grow WXP through channel partners (MSPs and GSIs). Own the product workstream for channel partner growth — partner-facing admin experience, multi-tenant management, entitlement and billing models, and partner portal workflows. Conduct discovery with MSP and GSI partners to identify capability gaps and prioritize roadmap against business impact.
- Embed WXP into HP’s Managed Services organization. Drive the product workstream to make WXP the operating platform for HP Managed Services. Partner with the MS team on integration requirements, deployment workflows, and feature gaps that block MS adoption, and own the roadmap that closes them.
- Explore and pilot new routes to market. Identify, validate, and pilot new distribution motions — marketplace listings, alliance partnerships, adjacent channel motions, and other emerging RTM opportunities — and bring back data-driven recommendations on which to scale.
- Partner with Sales, Channel, and Marketing. Support enablement, GTM execution, and feedback loops from the field back into the product. Translate growth signals into actionable inputs for Sales and partner motions.
Success in this role looks like
- Measurable improvement in WXP activation, engagement, and expansion metrics
- A shipped, entitlement-aware in-product experience that surfaces the right offers to the right customers in the right moments
- Growth in WXP customer count and ARR attributable to channel partners (MSPs, GSIs)
- WXP successfully deployed and operational as the platform powering HP Managed Services
- Validated new routes to market for WXP, with at least one scaled motion
- Instrumented and measurable growth funnel feeding product and GTM decisions
