Your role

We're looking for a native German-speaking Growth Marketing Manager to lead the marketing strategy for Shell Germany, owning the full customer journey from acquisition and activation through to retention and growth. Working as part of our European Centre of Marketing Excellence, you'll develop and execute high-impact campaigns across paid media, SEO, AI-powered content, website optimisation, CRM, lifecycle marketing and value-added services, partnering closely with Sales, Product and Digital teams to accelerate pipeline, strengthen the Shell brand and drive commercial performance.

What We Need
Corpay is currently looking to hire a Growth Marketing Manager, Shell Germany within our Shell reseller / EUF Marketing division. This position falls under our Marketing line of business and is located in Germany.In this role, you will lead the strategic development and execution of growth-focused sales and marketing initiatives that drive brand visibility, customer acquisition, activation, retention, and lifecycle value across the DACH Shell reseller region. You will own the Germany marketing plan and support delivery of the Germany Growth Plan across demand generation, digital optimisation, value proposition development, and customer lifecycle performance.You will report directly to the Marketing Director and regularly collaborate with Sales, Product, Digital Marketing, Data, Content, Brand, Marketing Automation, CRM/Salesforce, Customer Success, and the wider European Centre of Marketing Excellence teams.

Role Responsibilities

Defining the full marketing strategy for Shell Germany, aligned with commercial priorities and the Germany Growth Plan

  • Identifying target segments, industry verticals, and priority channels to maximise customer acquisition, brand strength, and volume growth
  • Developing Germany-specific value propositions across core offerings, Value Added Services, Extra Netz, Parking, Carwash, and Shell Premium products
  • Integrating local market insights into positioning, messaging, and campaign strategies
  • Working with the Digital team to monitoring Germany’s paid media strategy, lead quality, performance, and cost efficiency
  • Leading outbound programmes including lost-lead recovery, prospecting workflows, and structured winback activity
  • Managing purchased data to support targeted nurture campaigns, outbound activity, and prospect expansion
  • Overseeing website visitor data enrichment using third-party data tools such as ZoomInfo to increase pipeline potential
  • Owning the management and performance of Germany’s website presence, ensuring strong UX, traffic growth, and conversion pathways
  • Collaborating with the Content Manager to delivering SEO improvements, content optimization, and LLM-driven enhancements that support organic lead growth
  • Driving continuous website testing and optimization aligned with CRO, acquisition, and customer experience goals
  • Ensuring website messaging, product information, and value propositions remain accurate, relevant, and up to date for the German market
  • Working with the E2E team to leading ecommerce conversion rate optimization and improving lead-to-sale performance
  • Using data and experimentation to identifying funnel friction points and driving improvements across landing pages and digital journeys
  • Building a structured testing roadmap in partnership with digital teams to increase conversion performance
  • Developing customer activation programs tailored to Germany to reduce early-life attrition and accelerate engagement
  • Owning lifecycle marketing and ELM journey optimization across Germany
  • Building structured cross-sell and up-sell journeys for Parking and other Value Added Services
  • Developing wi back strategies for dormant customers and pipeline recovery opportunities
  • Leading full-funnel campaign strategy and execution for Shell Germany
  • Managing the creative process end-to-end across digital, print, social, and events assets
  • Collaborating with Sales, Product, Customer Success, and Data teams to ensuring campaign readiness and commercial alignment
  • Leading segmentation development to enable precise targeting across Germany campaigns
  • Partnering with Marketing Automation teams to delivering nurture journeys, workflows, and triggered lifecycle communications
  • Working with Data and Salesforce teams to onboarding purchased data, improving data completeness, and enhancing reporting accuracy
  • Ensuring smooth execution of CRM-driven initiatives, reporting, and funnel forecasting
  • Leading Germany-focused survey, review, and insight programmes to inform marketing, product, pricing, and positioning decisions
  • Managing the Germany marketing budget across channels, campaigns, website, and lifecycle initiatives
  • Optimising the use of internal teams, content specialists, digital experts, and external agencies to maximise output and efficiency
  • Acting as the central point of coordination across the European marketing ecosystem
  • Testing new digital channels, content types, SEO/LLM approaches, and acquisition tactics relevant to Germany’s growth needs
  • Driving a culture of experimentation, progressive learning, and data-led decision making

Qualifications & Skills

  • Native German language skills
  • 5+ years’ experience in a similar senior B2B marketing role
  • Proven track record in planning, leading, and executing sales-focused marketing in a data-driven, multi-channel, multi-touch environment
  • Experience delivering demand generation programmes through long-term, continuously optimised multi-channel marketing activity
  • Strong understanding of lead generation, lead warming, nurturing techniques, lifecycle marketing, and customer journey optimisation
  • Excellent knowledge of direct marketing channels, including digital and non-digital activity
  • Strong working knowledge of Marketing Automation, CRM tools such as Salesforce, paid media, social media, SEO, CRO, and digital performance marketing
  • Experience across a broad range of marketing disciplines, including campaign planning, content optimisation, brand activation, customer activation, retention, and winback
  • Commercial, outcome-focused, KPI-led, and data-driven mindset
  • Strategic and creative approach with a strong understanding of prospect and customer journeys and buying lifecycle trigger points
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Ability to build strong relationships with Sales, GTM teams, and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
  • Customer-centric approach, personal resilience, motivation, and a proactive mindset
  • Marketing-related degree and/or CIM Postgraduate Diploma is preferred but not required

Pay Transparency
The salary range for this position is €70000 – € 75000 gross per year The final offer will be determined based on objective, gender-neutral criteria including relevant skills, professional experience, and qualifications. Corpay maintains structured compensation practices and regularly reviews pay to support compliance with equal pay principles and applicable EU legislation. Additional compensation elements, including benefits and variable pay, if applicable, will be discussed during the recruitment process.
