Your new role
As Customer Engagement Manager – Consumers, you'll bridge the gap between brand strategy and consumer reality. You'll orchestrate complex, multi-channel campaigns that drive awareness, trial, and retention—all while navigating the unique landscape of healthcare consumer engagement.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Defining and executing integrated brand activation plans across launches, always-on moments, and seasonal campaigns that translate strategy into meaningful consumer touchpoints
Owning the full-funnel media strategy for brand activations, including planning logic, channel mix optimization, and orchestration with media agencies, creative partners, and platform ecosystems
Leading e-commerce and retail media strategies and activation initiatives that meet consumers where they are
Coordinating omnichannel activation delivery across content, channels, timing, and in-market rollout with cross-functional stakeholders
Managing creative governance for activation assets, ensuring message consistency and compliant localized implementation across markets
Overseeing agency and vendor relationships (creative production, experiential, activation partners), including briefs, timelines, and performance oversight
Tracking activation performance against agreed KPIs and translating insights into actionable improvements across budget, audience targeting, creative execution, and channel mix
Your new department
In Product & Portfolio Strategy we drive commercial strategy, medical affairs and business development across all therapy areas. We act as a connector and compass, guiding the new Novo Nordisk portfolio for sustained competitiveness.
Within this team, you'll be part of a dynamic consumer-focused unit that's pioneering how we engage with people seeking solutions for chronic disease management. We're building bridges between pharmaceutical excellence and consumer health marketing, creating activation strategies that balance performance, compliance, and genuine patient impact. Your work will directly influence how millions discover and engage with therapies that can transform their health journey.
Your skills & qualifications
We're looking for a strategic activation leader who thrives in the intersection of consumer marketing and healthcare. You'll bring:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field in consumer engagement, experience in commercial marketing, patient engagement, or consumer activation as a leader
Strong background in FMCG or consumer health marketing with proven success in driving awareness → trial → retention through consumer-facing activations
Demonstrated track record working with media agencies, platform partners, and creative agencies to deliver end-to-end consumer campaigns from briefing through production, rollout, and optimization
Full-funnel activation expertise with the ability to translate brand strategy into consumer activation plans and coordinate channel mix accordingly
Comfort with performance metrics and data-driven decision making (engagement, conversion, journey effectiveness) to drive recommendations and continuous improvement
High level of stakeholder management, influence, and experience as a people manager (direct or indirect)
Ability to inspire the organization to adopt a consumer-focused approach in patient activation initiatives
Creative problem-solving skills with the ability to identify challenges in engagement strategies and develop innovative solutions
Exceptional communication and storytelling abilities to craft compelling narratives and align stakeholders
Fluency in English and Portuguese
