Job Description

About Tensec

Founded in 2023, Tensec is a well-funded global fintech that enables small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) to enter global trade by giving them access to cross-border financial services that are user-friendly, efficient, and secure.

Tensec founders have driven startups from foundation to exit, built decacorns, and led global teams at companies such as PayPal, Rapyd, Credit Karma, Facebook/Meta, MercadoLibre Goldman Sachs, Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. We're putting together a world-class team to disrupt the $150 trillion cross-border b2b financial services industry by providing SMBs the financial strength to participate and win in the global economy.

Seeking Growth Marketers Who Pursue Innovation — and Deliver Results.

At Tensec, we're reimagining cross-border financial services by making it faster and easier for businesses to move money globally. We're looking for a strategic, results-oriented Growth Marketing Director (or Manager) to own and scale our customer acquisition, activation, and revenue growth across the funnel. You will combine experimentation, analytics, and creative execution to drive a predictable pipeline and product adoption in a B2B fintech environment. This is a highly cross-functional leadership role, ideal for someone who's data-driven, thrives in ambiguity, and can move fluidly between strategy and execution.

Key Responsibilities

Growth Strategy & Experimentation

  • Own the end-to-end growth strategy across acquisition, activation, retention, and expansion

  • Design, execute, and analyze growth experiments across email, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, paid channels, and SEO

  • Optimize the full funnel from lead → MQL → SQL → revenue in close collaboration with Sales and RevOps

  • Build and continuously improve onboarding, activation, and lifecycle journeys for B2B customers

  • Manage and scale paid acquisition (Google, LinkedIn), owning budgeting, CAC optimization, and experimentation

  • Identify and scale high-impact growth opportunities using both qualitative insights and quantitative analysis

  • Research, evaluate, and experiment with AI-driven growth and content tools to improve speed, personalization, and performance across channels

  • Implement and test new AI-powered workflows for content creation, distribution, optimization, and insights generation

  • Run structured experiments to measure the impact of AI tools on engagement, conversion, and pipeline contribution

  • Define, track, and report on core growth metrics.

ABM Strategy & Lead Generation

  • Develop and execute account-based marketing (ABM) strategies targeting senior target vertical and payments decision-makers (CEOs, CFOs, CROs)

  • Partner closely with Sales, Product and product marketing to craft highly personalized messaging for target segments and ICPs

  • Plan, launch, and optimize multi-channel lead generation programs with a clear focus on pipeline contribution and ROI

  • Align marketing programs with sales priorities to support deal velocity and close rates

Content, Enablement & Positioning

  • Create high-impact, executive-level assets including pitch decks, case studies, solution briefs, whitepapers, and thought leadership content

  • Own the company blog end to end — from topic ideation and editorial planning to writing, publishing, and optimization

  • Write and manage blog posts, press releases, bylined articles, and long-form content to support brand positioning and demand generation

  • Own the social content strategy for LinkedIn and relevant B2B platforms, driving awareness, credibility, and inbound interest

  • Write and manage press releases, bylined articles, and blog content

  • Translate complex, technical, or regulated product capabilities into simple, customer-centric value propositions

  • Support go-to-market launches with coordinated content, messaging, and enablement assets

  • Continuously test, iterate, and improve content based on performance, sales feedback, and pipeline impact

Required Qualifications

  • 8–12+ years of experience in growth, performance, lifecycle, or demand marketing, with clear progression into leadership roles

  • Proven track record of scaling growth at a B2B SaaS or fintech company through Series A and beyond, including meaningful impact on pipeline, revenue, and CAC efficiency

  • Demonstrated experience building and scaling growth engines—taking early traction and turning it into repeatable, measurable growth

  • Ability to operate at both strategic and execution levels, from defining growth strategy to personally driving high-impact initiatives when needed

  • Strong analytical and financial mindset, with deep experience in funnel analysis, attribution, experimentation, and ROI measurement

  • Comfortable leading in high-ambiguity, resource-constrained settings, making sound decisions with incomplete data

  • Clear, confident communicator with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and guide cross-functional teams

  • Track record of launching successful ABM and lead generation campaigns with measurable business impact

  • Strong background in content creation and messaging for financial services industries

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

  • Expert-level proficiency with HubSpot, WordPress, Marketo, Google Analytics, and/or social media platforms

  • English fluency; Portuguese and/or Spanish language skills are a plus

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience marketing to fintech, digital banking, payments, or API-first platform stakeholders

  • Advanced knowledge of ABM platforms and marketing automation

  • Strong storytelling and data visualization skills

  • Experience building and scaling marketing teams in high-growth environments

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary + performance-based bonuses

  • Significant equity options

  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans

  • Mental health coverage

  • Professional development stipend
