This role is focused on architecting the full-funnel growth system that turns the brand into something people discover, buy from, return to, and recommend to others.

The position goes beyond performance marketing execution and requires ownership across acquisition, retention, analytics, website optimisation, CRM, omnichannel expansion, and growth strategy. The ideal candidate should have experience scaling a D2C brand from near-zero to meaningful scale while balancing growth metrics with strong brand awareness and customer understanding.

The role involves working closely with creative, design, tech, and brand teams while building systems for testing, learning, optimisation, and scalable growth.

Performance Marketing

• Own paid acquisition across Meta and Google including strategy, structure, budgets, bidding, and outcomes
• Build and iterate on full-funnel campaign architecture across awareness, consideration, conversion, and retention
• Manage media buying with strong budget discipline and accountability
• Monitor platform changes, algorithm shifts, and emerging ad formats across channels

Creative & Media Strategy

• Work closely with creative and brand teams to build a performance creative engine focused on testing, learning, and scaling
• Develop creative briefs grounded in data, identifying hooks, formats, and narratives that drive results across funnel stages
• Build a structured test-and-learn culture tied to measurable outcomes
• Understand the distinction between brand-building content and conversion-focused content

Analytics & Growth Intelligence

• Own the growth data stack including attribution, reporting, dashboards, and growth metrics
• Build visibility into CAC, LTV, payback periods, cohort behaviour, and blended ROAS across channels
• Turn growth data into actionable business decisions and identify growth levers across acquisition, retention, and funnel optimisation

Shopify & Website Optimisation

• Own the D2C storefront as a growth asset and lead CRO initiatives across landing pages, PDPs, checkout flow, navigation, and overall UX
• Run structured A/B and multivariate testing with clear hypotheses and measurable outcomes
• Work with design and tech teams to implement changes quickly and efficiently
• Ensure the website experience consistently reflects the overall brand promise

CRM & Retention

• Build and own CRM strategy across email, WhatsApp, push notifications, and SMS
• Develop lifecycle flows focused on repeat purchases, churn reduction, and increasing customer lifetime value
• Create intelligent segmentation strategies to deliver the right communication to the right audience at the right time
• Build retention as a core growth channel

Omnichannel & New Channels

• Build growth strategies across both online and offline channels
• Evaluate and activate new channels including marketplaces, quick commerce, retail, and emerging platforms
• Ensure omnichannel expansion is complementary and aligned with customer journey objectives
• Build systems that create a seamless omnichannel customer experience

Team & Vendor Management

• Build and lead the growth function including internal teams, agencies, freelancers, and external partners
• Define standards for working with performance agencies, creative partners, and technology vendors
• Create a culture of ownership, speed, accountability, and structured execution within the growth function

Must Haves

• 6–8 years of experience in growth, D2C, or performance marketing with direct P&L ownership
• Experience scaling a D2C brand from 0 to 10, ideally within apparel, footwear, or medium-frequency physical goods categories
• Ability to build Meta and Google campaigns from scratch
• Experience briefing creative teams with clear strategic direction and performance rationale
• Strong understanding of cohort analysis, growth metrics, and performance interpretation
• Ability to optimise PDPs and website conversion journeys
• Experience building CRM flows focused on repeat purchases and lifecycle growth
• Deep knowledge of Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, GA4, Klaviyo or equivalent CRM platforms, Shopify analytics, and third-party attribution tools
• Strong commercial understanding with a focus on unit economics over vanity metrics
• High ownership mindset with the ability to think like a business owner
• Ability to balance data-driven decision making with strong brand awareness and customer understanding
• Fast, structured, and systems-oriented approach to growth
• Experience building growth systems from scratch
• Comfortable working across both analytical and creative environments
• Strong systems thinking approach rather than campaign-only execution
• Ability to move quickly without compromising rigour
• Strong focus on customer behaviour, customer journeys, and retention drivers
