Job Description

TL;DR: Brazil is one of Lovable's largest and fastest-growing markets, and it got there almost entirely on its own energy. The community runs its own Lovable Days. A Lovable Summit exists because Brazilian builders willed it into existence. The title says Growth Lead, but make no mistake: this is our general manager for Brazil. You'll own the market like a founder and carry the commercial judgment of someone who has opened Brazil for technology companies before. You know which doors to open, which to keep closed, and when the timing is right for each bet. You'll sit inside Product & Engineering because Brazil grows through Product-led Growth, and the product is one of your commercial levers: if checkout doesn't speak Pix or parcelamento, if BRL pricing is wrong, you drive the fix.

For decades, turning an idea into software required so much capital, technical fluency, and time that many ideas never came to life. Whoever takes this role will not inherit a playbook. They will write the one everyone else copies.

What you will own

• The Brazil P&L mindset, end to end: Acquisition, activation, retention, and monetization. One market, full funnel, your number, your bets.
• The commercial strategy: Decide where Lovable plays first: SMB, enterprise, education, public sector, partnerships. Sequence the bets, say no to the wrong ones, and open the doors that matter through your own network.
• The Brazilian ecosystem: From boardrooms and executive networks to Campus Party, Web Summit Rio, South Summit, Gramado Summit, community-run Lovable events, and the WhatsApp groups where Brazil actually lives.
• Product changes that unlock the market: Talk to users and buyers constantly, then drive what ships with product and engineering: Pix and parcelamento, BRL pricing and packaging, PT-BR onboarding, templates, and the integrations Brazilian companies expect.

What you are

You've done this before. You've opened or scaled the Brazilian market for technology companies, and you carry the scar tissue and the network to prove it.

• Commercially mature: A decade or more of building technology businesses in Brazil, ideally including executive roles (CIO, CTO, country or commercial leadership) and board exposure. You know the right people, and more importantly, you know which conversations to have and which to skip.
• A strategic operator: You think in bets and sequencing. You can articulate what Lovable should optimize for in Brazil, and what it should deliberately ignore for now.
• Technically savvy: You're credible with engineers, understand PLG mechanics, and use Lovable yourself. You don't need to write the code, but you understand exactly what the product needs to win here.
• Native or near-native in Portuguese and fluent in English, our company language.
• A builder at heart: Titles aside, you prefer doing over coordinating. There is no Brazil playbook at Lovable yet. That's the point.

What this role is not

• Not "run Brazilian social media."
• Not "translate our global marketing calendar."
• Not "send HQ a deck about Brazil."

You have the freedom, and the responsibility, to set the commercial strategy, shape the product, and define how Lovable shows up in Brazil.

The goal is simple: make Brazil one of Lovable's strongest markets in the world.
