You & your job

As Growth Lead you are responsible for building and scaling the growth engine for our proposition aimed at 18-30 years. Your mission is to drive customer acquisition, increase brand awareness and accelerate market penetration through data-driven growth strategies, modern marketing capabilities and relentless experimentation. You translate ambitious growth targets into measurable commercial outcomes.

You provide functional leadership to a multidisciplinary growth team consisting of performance marketing, SEO/GEO, Brand, Content, Social Media and Data science specialists. Together, you develop and execute a scalable growth strategy that attracts the next generation of customers.

Top 3 responsibilities

• Own the acquisition strategy and growth engine. Define and execute the go-to-market and acquisition strategy. Build a scalable growth engine that continuously generates customer growth across paid, owned and earned channels.
• Build market awareness and customer demand. Develop distinctive brand presence and demand generation strategy that resonates with young customer segments. Ensure the proposition creates relevance, consideration and customer acquisition.
• Lead experimentation and growth optimisation. Continuously improve acquisition performance, conversion and return on marketing investments through data, experimentation and innovation. Embed rapid testing, learning and continuous optimisation in the cross-functional team.

Responsibilities and accountabilities

• Own end-to-end customer acquisition strategy for 18-30, including the multi-channel growth plan across paid, organic, referral and social channels and the allocation of the growth budget across channels.
• Responsible for managing performance within agreed acquisition budget, monitoring spend, reporting on budget and CAC performance, and ensuring delivery remains on track.
• Lead performance marketing activities with relentless focus on scalability and efficiency, creating integrated campaigns across digital and social channels that generate measurable growth, working through our media and creative partners.
• Drive ASO, SEO, GEO and content strategies to maximise discoverability and customer acquisition.
• Develop brand, content and social strategies that strengthen awareness, relevance and performance with a young audience.
• Build referral and growth loops into the product together with Product, Design and Engineering.
• Drive effective attribution modelling, incrementality testing and experimentation, and run the test-and-learn plan.
• Own the AdTech and tracking requirements for acquisition and drive them into the tech roadmap together with Tech, Data and Privacy: event tracking and app SDKs, server-side tagging, conversion APIs and offline conversion feeds, consent management, and identity and attribution.
• Lead, coach and develop your team of six specialists.

Your & your talent

• 8+ years of experience in Growth Marketing, Performance Marketing, Digital Acquisition or Commercial Growth. Including 2+ years leading a team of specialists.
• Proven track record in scaling customer growth in digital-first businesses, including knowledge of the Dutch market and Gen Z.
• Ability to design and build scalable customer acquisition rather than running campaigns.
• Strong skillset and experience in attribution, tracking and data.
• Strong experience in performance marketing, acquisition funnels, experimentation and growth analytics.
• Strong analytical skills with a commercial mindset, fluent in acquisition cost, payback period and customer lifetime value.
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution skills.
• Strong experience in growth loops and referral mechanics.
• You are obsessed with growth and measurable outcomes and have an entrepreneurial mindset.
• Master’s degree in Data science, Business Administration, Growth or Digital Marketing, Financial economics, or equivalent capability built through experience.
