The Growth Developer will own the design, development, and optimization of Shopify Plus storefronts, landing pages, and ecommerce experiences.
This role combines web development, conversion rate optimization (CRO), experimentation, AI-assisted workflows, and UX optimization to improve conversion performance and user experience across digital campaigns. The ideal candidate is highly autonomous, adaptable, technically strong, and comfortable iterating quickly within a fast-paced environment.
Build, optimize, and maintain Shopify Plus storefronts and landing pages
Design and develop conversion-focused marketing experiences, PDPs, collections, and checkout journeys
Ensure site performance, speed, and responsiveness are optimized
Support technical SEO best practices and Core Web Vitals improvements
Build and manage A/B tests and experimentation workflows
Implement personalization and dynamic content for targeted campaigns
Optimize landing pages, funnels, and ecommerce flows using performance data and user behavior insights
Collaborate with marketing teams on campaign testing, iteration, and performance improvements
Use AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Antigravity, or similar platforms to accelerate execution and problem-solving
Rapidly prototype, troubleshoot, and iterate on web and marketing solutions
Identify opportunities for automation and operational efficiency across web, marketing, and ecommerce systems
Partner with marketing, CRO, and operations teams to align development work with business goals
Maintain documentation of processes, experiments, and system updates
Adapt to evolving tools, systems, and workflows while maintaining high-quality execution
Strong experience in Shopify Plus development
Proven track record building high-converting ecommerce or landing page experiences
3–5 years of experience in web development, CRO, or growth-focused roles
Experience supporting experimentation and optimization initiatives within ecommerce environments
Proficiency in Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Experience with CRO and experimentation platforms such as ConvertFlow, Visually, or similar tools
Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools for workflow acceleration
Strong understanding of ecommerce UX, funnel optimization, and conversion-focused development
High autonomy, curiosity, and adaptability in fast-moving remote environments
Strong attention to detail, systems thinking, and iterative problem-solving abilities
Proactive mindset with a strong bias toward action and continuous improvement
Experience with Replo, Shogun, Webflow, or Framer preferred
Familiarity with GA4, PostHog, or similar analytics platforms preferred
Knowledge of ecommerce SEO and technical optimization preferred
Familiarity with headless commerce environments preferred
Experience integrating email and SMS marketing platforms preferred
Familiarity with online education, wellness, mental health, or subscription-based businesses preferred
Strong visual UX instincts and frontend design polish preferred
High-performing Shopify Plus storefronts and landing pages with improved conversion rates
Optimized funnels, PDPs, and digital campaigns with measurable CRO impact
Efficient AI-enhanced workflows that improve speed and team execution
Strong collaboration across marketing, growth, and operations teams
