As a Groups, Conference and Events (GCE) Planning Executive, you’re not just driving revenue by securing GCE bookings – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.
Here's what you'll do during a typical day:
· Receiving handovers from the sales team and handling the planning for meeting and events.
· Creating floorplans, contract addendums & pro-forma invoices
· Conduct event planning meetings and site visits prior to the event taking place
· Lead Pre-con meetings as and when required
· Upsell additional hotel services were possible.
· Building good relationships with our clients
· Creating daily, weekly and monthly reports as per instructions
· Loading data into various Platforms – Delphi & OnQ
· Managing LightStay reports
· Managing Hilton Honour Points for Clients
· Build and maintain good relationship with Operations Team, Kitchen Team, Front Office Team, and all other areas of the hotel
Specific job knowledge, skill and ability:
· Working experience in a hotel – basic knowledge of department & revenue structure
· IT & tech savvy – able to work with various software
· Positive attitude and good communication skills
· Commitment to deliver high level of accuracy
· Excellent grooming standards
· Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines
· Good organisation skills
· Have fantastic attention to detail
