The Group Vice President, Divisional Operations is a senior leader responsible for the overall performance, profitability, and strategic direction of eight plus states within Mediacom’s telecommunications footprint. This role provides senior level leadership across regional operations, financials, customer experience, regulatory affairs, network performance, and organizational development.
The Group Vice President serves as a key member of the leadership team, translating corporate strategy into operational excellence, driving sustainable growth, and ensuring consistent service quality and financial results across all assigned markets.

Position Responsibilities:
Leadership & Strategy
• Provide strategic leadership and operational governance for regional telecommunications operations, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and long-term growth plans.
• Partner with Senior leadership team to define enterprise operational strategy, market expansion initiatives, network modernization priorities, and organizational design.
Financial & Operational Performance
• Maintain full P&L ownership for assigned region, including revenue growth, expense management, capital deployment, and margin optimization.
• Lead development and execution of annual operating plans, regional budgets, and multi-year capital investment strategies.
• Establish enterprise-level KPIs and performance management frameworks to drive accountability, efficiency, and service excellence.
Organizational Leadership
• Lead, mentor, and develop Regional Vice Presidents and functional leaders, fostering a high-performance culture and strong leadership pipeline.
• Drive succession planning, leadership development, and organizational capability building across regions.
• Ensure consistent application of company policies, EEO standards, and ethical leadership practices.
Customer Experience & Growth
• Oversee regional strategies for subscriber acquisition, retention, and revenue diversification through high-level oversight of sales, marketing, product deployment, and customer service functions.
• Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality network performance, programming, and customer support across all systems.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and Mediacom reputation.
Regulatory & Community Relations
• Serve as the company’s senior operational representative with municipalities, regulators, and public officials.
• Lead franchise negotiations, regulatory strategy, and community partnership efforts to protect and expand the company’s operating footprint.
Risk Management & Transformation
• Identify operational risks and market challenges, implementing mitigation strategies and business continuity planning.
• Sponsor enterprise-wide operational excellence, cost optimization, digital transformation, and process improvement initiatives.
Travel & Presence
• Travel regularly to Mediacom offices and system locations to maintain leadership visibility, operational insight, and strong stakeholder relationships.
Position Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced business/technical degree preferred (or equivalent experience).
• 12+ years of progressive leadership experience in telecommunications, cable, broadband, or related infrastructure-based services.
• Demonstrated success leading multi-region or large-scale operations with full P&L responsibility.
• Strong background in operations, finance, marketing, engineering, and customer experience leadership.
• Proven ability to operate effectively at the senior level, influencing enterprise strategy and driving organizational change.
• Deep understanding of telecommunications technologies, regulatory environments, and competitive market dynamics.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Willingness to travel regularly.
