The ideal candidate brings deep Telco domain expertise, proven experience in designing and delivering Telco Cloud IT solutions, and the ability to lead end to end architecture and engineering activities for large scale transformation programs. In this role, you will be responsible for defining solution architectures, guiding technical design and implementation, and ensuring the successful integration of complex systems for Tier 1 telecommunications operators—particularly within service provisioning, orchestration, activation, and fulfilment domains. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders across business, architecture, and operations, shaping modern, scalable, cloud native solutions aligned with industry standards and best practices. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities Solution Architecture & Technical Leadership • Lead the architecture design, end to end solution definition, and technical governance of complex Telco IT systems and integration programs. • Define target architectures, integration patterns, data flows, and deployment strategies for cloud native, microservices based, and distributed systems. • Evaluate technology options and architectures to support high availability, performance, scalability, and security requirements for mission critical Telco processes. Software Engineering & System Integration • Oversee and contribute to the design, development, and lifecycle management of software components across provisioning, fulfilment, orchestration, and activation domains. • Ensure adherence to DevSecOps, CI/CD, and software engineering best practices across development teams. • Support solution implementation across hybrid and Telco cloud environments (private cloud, NFV/SDN, public cloud). Delivery, Governance & Cross Team Collaboration • Act as a key technical point of reference for cross functional teams, including development, architecture, operations, and vendor partners. • Drive technical workshops, requirement refinement, solution assessments, and design authority activities. • Collaborate within international and multicultural teams using agile at scale or turnkey delivery models. Innovation & Continuous Improvement • Promote adoption of modern engineering patterns, cloud native architectures, and automation frameworks. • Stay up to date with evolving Telco IT standards (TM Forum Open APIs, ETSI NFV, 3GPP), emerging technologies, and architecture trends. • Mentor engineers and contribute to internal knowledge sharing and technical communities. 1. To bridge the gap between client needs and business goals by gathering requirements, crafting innovative solutions with deep domain/technology expertise, and driving successful implementations that propel strategic initiatives.
2. To spearhead the architecture, design, and development (through a high-performing team) of innovative solutions for product/project & sustenance delivery, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
3. To ensure knowledge up-gradation and work with new technologies so that the solution is current and meets quality standards and the client requirements
4. To review architecture and design deliverables and ensure solutions adhere to industry best practices ,architectural standards simultaneously establish and enforce governance /compliance measures.
5. To train and develop team so as to ensure that there is an adequate supply of trained manpower in the said technology and delivery risks are mitigated
