Job Description

At Amartha, we empower micro-businesses across Indonesia, enabling growth and equal prosperity. We’ve supported over 2.7 million entrepreneurs—mostly women—by disbursing IDR 22.8 trillion in funding. As we step into 2025, Amartha is evolving into a technology-driven financial ecosystem, expanding our reach in lending, funding, and payments. Through innovation and digital solutions, we aim to enhance accessibility, streamline processes, and create a seamless user experience.

About The Team

This role will be the operational backbone of the Strategy function. You will work directly with the VP Strategy and closely with the CEO - to keep the team running with discipline and precision. This means owning the operational rhythm of the Strategy team itself, and simultaneously coordinating the execution of strategic and special projects that touch every part of the organization.

This is not an administrative role. You will be the connective tissue between the Strategy team and the rest of Amartha - ensuring workstreams move, decisions get made, and nothing falls through the cracks.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and own the operational cadence of the Strategy function: pre-reads, meeting agendas, post-meeting follow-ups, and action item accountability
  • Represent the VP Strategy in working-level cross-functional meetings; synthesize, filter, and escalate only what requires executive attention
  • Build and maintain a living initiative tracker across all Strategy-led and Strategy-adjacent workstreams -- status, risks, owners, and dependencies
  • Coordinate new and special projects that sit across Finance, Product, Operations,
  • Business Development, and other domains -- ensuring alignment, timelines, and deliverables stay on track
  • Manage communication flow between the Strategy team and senior stakeholders across the organization
  • Draft internal memos, briefing notes, and stakeholder updates on behalf of the VP Strategy
  • Proactively identify operational gaps and resolve them before they become problems

Requirements

  • S1 from a reputable Indonesian or international university (UI, ITB, UGM, Prasmul, BINUS or equivalent)
  • S2 / MBA is a plus but not required
  • 4 to 6 years of experience, with at least 2 years in a PMO, project governance, or strategy operations role
  • Proven ability to manage multiple cross-functional workstreams simultaneously without losing quality or urgency
  • Strong written communication -- you can write a crisp briefing note, a sharp exec summary, and a clear action tracker
  • Comfortable operating with ambiguity; you figure things out rather than waiting to be told
  • Consulting, fintech, tech, or fast-paced corporate environment experience strongly preferred
  • Exposure to OKR frameworks, quarterly business reviews, or board cadence is a strong plus
