We’re offering a permanent, full-time opportunity for an experienced digital leader to join our Digital Delivery team as Group Senior Manager, Digital Delivery In this pivotal role, you’ll drive innovation, lead high-profile programs, and position Queensland Rail as a leader in enterprise technology.

Your work will directly influence how Queensland Rail connects communities and prepares for one of the world’s biggest events—the Brisbane 2032 Olympic Games.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership of the digital portfolio to align projects with organisational objectives.
  • Ensure successful delivery of business-led and technology-led projects through effective governance and risk management.
  • Drive continuous improvement in portfolio, program, and project practices to reduce complexity, improve speed to market, and deliver value.
  • Build strong partnerships with stakeholders to ensure consistent delivery and position Digital & Information as a trusted business partner.
  • Embed a commercial mindset focused on outcomes and benefits.
  • Contribute to the Digital & Information leadership team, providing expert advice and supporting strategic objectives.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team to foster accountability, agility, and customer focus.

About you:

You’re a visionary leader with:

  • Proven experience delivering complex digital portfolios in dynamic, customer-focused environments.
  • Expertise in portfolio, program, and project management frameworks, governance, and risk.
  • Strong knowledge of solution architecture and lifecycle management.
  • Commercial acumen to manage vendors under outcomes-based contracts.
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
  • A passion for modern delivery practices like Agile and Design Thinking.
