Overview: Our client is a leading regional distribution company based in Barbados with proven client activity across the OECS. Due to growth, they are seeking to add a proven professional to the management team. Duties Responsibilities: Design the forecasting models, supplier scorecards, buying processes and on-going management of the processes. Provide concise information to directors to assist with sourcing directives. Ensure financial ROI on procurement is formulated and documented accordingly by translating procurement into financial impact: savings delivered, margin protected, cash released etc. Centralize procurement and inventory management decisions. Increase supplier options by verifying product suitability to meet current/future demands. Monitor and manage Inventory control including management of key staff. Requirements Qualified in a Procurement, Supply chain or Inventory related discipline. At least 8 years in procurement, supply chain, or logistics, with at least 3 in leadership or coordinator role. Pharmaceutical, medical, or healthcare distribution background a distinct advantage. Experience managing direct reports or a small team, with examples of setting standards and building accountability. Proven track record of cross-border, multi-entity procurement. Experience of redesigning or building a procurement function or workflow. Proven Director level communication. Strong demand forecasting and inventory analysis. ERP fluency. Acumatica preferred. SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite would be considered. Advanced Excel and strong analytical thinking. Proven multiple territory experience (e.g. Caribbean, Latin American, or small-island-state market exposure). Tender response and government or institutional supply experience. Competent with Power BI, Tableau, or similar analytics tools.
