ABOUT THE ROLE

Important note:
  • Fluency in both English and French is required, as you will interact daily with international teams and stakeholders.
  • This position requires a strong on-site presence at the Group's headquarters near Orléans (Boigny-sur-Bionne - 45) While occasional remote working is possible, the successful candidate is expected to spend the majority of their time on-site, with occasional international travel to the Group's entities.

As Group Procurement Director, you will define and lead the Group's procurement strategy to build a competitive, resilient and high-performing global supplier network. Your role will have a direct impact on the Group's competitiveness, project profitability and supply chain security across all business units.

You will play a key role in supporting the company's growth by driving procurement transformation, harmonising practices across international entities and developing strong strategic supplier partnerships

Your main responsibilities include:

Define and drive the Group Procurement Strategy

  • Develop and deploy the Group procurement strategy and governance across all entities
  • Define sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Establish and enforce cost reduction roadmaps, procurement standards, contractual frameworks and make-or-buy policies
  • Ensure early procurement involvement during bids and project design to maximise competitiveness

Lead the Procurement Function

  • Oversee the full procurement lifecycle, from strategic sourcing and supplier selection to contract management and supplier performance
  • Develop and maintain a global supplier panel
  • Standardise procurement tools, processes and cost estimation methodologies
  • Lead supplier performance reviews and manage escalation with strategic suppliers

Deliver Business Performance

  • Drive procurement contribution to project margins, cost competitiveness and operational risk reduction
  • Develop KPIs and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement performance
  • Ensure supplier reliability in terms of quality, lead time and delivery performance
  • Lead supplier risk management, including shortages, obsolescence and dependency mitigation
  • Drive supplier consolidation and long-term strategic partnerships
  • Manage crisis situations involving critical suppliers


ABOUT YOU

You are an experienced procurement leader with a proven ability to combine strategic vision and operational execution.

You bring:

  • At least 15 years of experience in procurement with end-to-end responsibilities, including strategic sourcing, procurement operations and supply chain management
  • Experience gained within a larger international industrial organisation, allowing you to bring best practices while remaining hands-on and pragmatic
  • A genuine appetite for transformation, continuous improvement and building new ways of working
  • Strong leadership and change management capabilities, with the ability to inspire and align multicultural teams around common objectives
  • Demonstrated experience operating in an international environment, successfully harmonising procurement practices across multiple countries and business units
  • Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation and influencing skills
  • A results-oriented mindset with strong analytical and decision-making abilities
