We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Group Manager to lead our Marketing & Sales efforts. This role will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive strategies to drive market growth, enhance brand presence, and achieve ambitious sales targets for Hitachi, Ltd.
Job Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategic marketing and sales plans aligned with Hitachi's overall business objectives.
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of marketing and sales professionals, fostering a high-performance culture.
Oversee market research, competitive analysis, and customer segmentation to identify new opportunities and optimize existing strategies.
Manage the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across various channels (digital, traditional, events, etc.).
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
Drive the sales pipeline, negotiate contracts, and close deals to achieve revenue goals.
Monitor and analyze marketing and sales performance metrics, providing regular reports and actionable insights to senior leadership.
Manage marketing and sales budgets effectively, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
Collaborate cross-functionally with product development, engineering, and service teams to ensure alignment and customer satisfaction.
Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in marketing and sales.
Closely work with tendering/pre-sales, contract team, engineering to negotiate terms and win new order for the BU for power system sales
Must have a strategic mindset to develop plans that help Hitachi winning business objectives
Must demonstrate leadership skills, collaboration, cultural flexibility/adaptability, etc.
Must bring innovative ideas, digitalization, process system improvement, etc.
Should collaborate with multiple functions like engineering, tendering, commercial, contract, SCM, and PMO
Job Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with MBA in Marketing preferred
Minimum of 13-19 years of progressive experience in marketing and sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership or management role.
Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing and sales strategies that resulted in significant growth.
Strong understanding of B2B and B2C marketing principles and sales methodologies.
Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and marketing automation platforms.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Experience in the technology, industrial, or infrastructure sectors is highly desirable.
